White Beach

White Beach

4.8
4.8/5
1.5k reviews
The white sand beach is formed by a large piece of coral ground and stretches smoothly. The sand is white and delicate. There are many tourists here and all kinds of leisure and entertainment facilities are available. At night, it transforms into a huge bar, which is decorated with lights and music. It is colorful, no wonder that many people who come to vacation stay here from morning to night. Regional distribution The white sand beach is located in the middle of the west coast of the island, extending for 4 kilometers from north to south. From north to south, it is divided into No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 in the order of development, which is what tourists often call S1, S2, and S3. . You can try to walk from one end to the other, you will experience its different characteristics. S1 belongs to the hotel area, there are fewer tourists and fewer sellers; the place called Friday Beach refers to here. S2 is an area where commercial facilities are concentrated, and you can find D'mall shopping mall, which can not only enjoy shopping but also satisfy your taste buds. And S3 also has a lot of things to sell, the price is cheaper than S2, and there will be fewer people at the end, which is very suitable for tourists who like a quiet atmosphere. It is very pleasant to  go on the white sand beach, play in the water, pile sand, or rent a deck chair to relax. The tall coconut trees can also be used to block the sun. In addition to the intoxicating sandy beaches, the Willy's Reef, which stands in the blue waters, is also a major attraction. The reef is located near the S1 pier. It is not only a good place to take pictures, but you can also walk directly to the reef at low tide and climb up to see the whole white sand beach and crystal clear waters. If you want to enjoy the beautiful sunset of Boracay Island, you might as well go to the S1 area in the evening. The huge sun slowly falls into the horizon, and the wonderful color gradient of the sky will be unforgettable. You can even rent a non-powered sailboat and float on the sea to watch the unpredictable sunset clouds. There are a lot of water activities on White Beach, including snorkeling, diving, banana boat, windsurfing, parachutes, glass bottom boats, etc. Don't forget to bargain with the locals to get a deal at a reasonable price. Among them, the glass-bottomed boat, which looks very similar to Nemo in the movie "Finding Nemo", is very interesting. Not only can you watch sea urchins, corals, starfish, tropical fish and other marine life through the glass bottom, but you can also choose a place with high visibility for snorkeling. There are ticket offices on the beaches of S1 and S3, and free snacks and drinks are provided during the 2+ hour voyage. Food and shopping Jonah's FruitShake & SnackBar located in S1 is a famous juice shop on the island. Be sure to try this mango juice, which is about 95 pesos for a large glass. At the D'Talipapa seafood market in S2, you can choose fresh seafood, and then let the store process it or bring it back to the hotel for processing, but pay attention to the price often fluctuates, the asking price may be too high, and you need to haggle. The D'Mall shopping center in White Beach S2 is a lively commercial area in Boracay, where you can buy local specialty products such as essential oils, soaps, and shell jewelry. You can also see people selling T-shirts near the beach, and the scenery of Boracay Island is painted on the T-shirts, which is very unique. After dark, the various bars centered on D'Mall are colorful, and the colorful nightlife continues until late at night. Accommodation Recommendation Tourists who vacation in Boracay will choose to live near White Beach. The S1 area has a quiet environment and is very suitable for honeymoon; the lively S2 area has many choices in terms of price, ranging from 300 to 1000 RMB. To meet the needs of the public; and you can find very cheap hotels in the S3 area, which can be considered if the budgetBoracay Island · 6.5 km from Caticlan
Puka Shell Beach

Puka Shell Beach

Puka Beach, also known as Yapak Beach, is less touristy and has a peaceful seaside atmosphere. It was once famous for its shiny puka shells, beautiful little shells that can be picked up on the beach after the tide goes out. Singer Liang Jingru's wedding photos were taken here, and now couples propose marriage here from time to time. Due to its remote location, access to Puka Beach is also inconvenient, but it also creates a beautiful, quiet and private environment. When you climb over the hills and come here, you can stretch your body and mind and walk with the sea breeze, as if the entire coastline belongs to you, which is extraordinarily wonderful. However, the sand at Puka Beach is rougher than the powdery fine sand of White Beach, and the slope here is not very gentle. Shells at Puka Beach were a popular accessory material in the 1970s and 1980s, but not every season is now available. During the typhoon season, the sand from the sea will flow back to the beach, covering the scattered shells. Come here in the evening, quietly looking for shells and watching the sunset, also don't have a lot of fun. It doesn't matter if you can't pick up a shell, there are small vendors selling shell products on the beach, and there are small bracelets and other accessories made by local residents that can be purchased.Boracay Island · 10.8 km from Caticlan

A famous rock formation on Boracay Island—Willy's Rock—stands in the sea. Local residents enshrined a statue of the Virgin Mary on it, which is how it got its name. At low tide, you can even walk directly to the rock to get a clear view of the entire White Beach and the crystal-clear water. With its prime location, it is an iconic attraction on Boracay's White Beach and a great spot for photos.Malay · 7.9 km from Caticlan

Dinwid Beach is located in the northwest of Boracay Island. Small and tranquil, it's much less crowded than other beaches, with most visitors being hotel guests. Without hawkers or noisy crowds, it's a perfect spot for quiet ocean views. The water is clear but rocky, making it ideal for snorkeling in calm waters, but not ideal for swimming. Due to tides, part of the beach is submerged around April and May, becoming a shallow area.Boracay Island · 8.7 km from Caticlan

Lingligan Beach is located in the northeastern part of Boracay Island. It is very quiet, the sea is clear and blue, and the sand is soft. Walking on the seaside will be a very pleasant thing. Most of the tourists who come here are island hopping tours, so there are fewer tourists. There is only one restaurant in the public facilities of the beach, offering buffet seafood meals. The taste of seafood is average, and it is better than the surrounding scenery. Various tropical plants on the mountain are very beautiful. When enjoying seafood in a thatched hut, occasionally you will see a beautiful scenery when you look up.Boracay Island · 9.6 km from Caticlan

Carabao Island is just around the corner from Boracay, an unknown gem. If you like cliff jumping, you need to be in Carabao. There are two great places to send some backflips, but there's a lot more to do on Carabao than just jump off a cliff. Fewer than 10,000 people live in Carabao, whose capital is San Jose. There are few cars on the island, motorcycles and boats are popular means of transportation. One of the highlights of Carabao Island is hanging out in a treehouse watching the sunset while gazing out at the sea towards the more vacant island of Boracay. From the Tagaytay viewpoint, you can get a panoramic view of the sunset and Boracay Island. They built houses and small cafes and treehouses, turning the attraction into a cool viewing area. It is surrounded by many trees but has a nice sunset view or a view of Boracay. From the east coast, you can walk here in half an hour or drive all the way down the trail.Romblon · 18.6 km from Caticlan

The Magellan Cross is the symbol of Cebu, and the image of the chapel appears in the center of the city emblem. This is the cross that Magellan erected on the beach after arriving in Cebu, symbolizing the colonization of the islands by the Spanish king, and is now housed in a hexagonal pavilion in the center of Cebu City Hall. The ceiling frescoes of the hexagonal chapel still retain their original appearance, and the realistic ceiling frescoes on the top of the cross are of great ornamental value. Cebuans believe in and respect this cross with historical and cultural significance. Every Sunday morning, countless good men and women bring incense and candles to pray for peace and good luck.Philippines · Cebu City

White Beach is an absolute paradise that exceeded all my expectations. The powdery white sand is incredibly soft underfoot, and the crystal-clear turquoise water is perfect for swimming. I spent my days relaxing under the palm trees and enjoying exciting water sports like snorkeling. The beachfront is lined with fantastic restaurants and lively bars, offering great food and vibrant nightlife. However, the absolute highlight was the breathtaking sunset, painting the sky in stunning shades of orange and pink. It is a perfect tropical getaway. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful beach for an unforgettable vacation experience

The Willy's Rock is a unique rock structure that cannot be missed on the White Beach in Boracay. It is located near Station 1 and is easy to reach and explore. You can also swim, explore the surrounding area, or just walk on the beach. The rock is very beautiful and the natural scenery of the White Beach is also great.

liked this beach because it was much more peaceful than the main beach. The water is still stunning, although the sand is not as fine. You can walk round the headland from station 1. There isn't a lot here but there is a nice little restaurant where you can eat with your toes in the sand.

Carabao Island: The Pristine Secret You’ll Want to Keep to YourselfIf you’re looking for the soul of the Philippines without the crowds, Carabao Island (Hambil) is your sanctuary. Just a 30-minute boat ride from Boracay, it feels like a different world entirely. Why You Should Go:Untouched Beaches: Lanas Beach offers world-class sunsets, while Said Beach features blindingly white sand and water so clear it looks like glass.True Island Vibe: No malls, no loud clubs—just swaying palms and "habal-habal" rides through lush hills.Adventure: Don't miss the cliff jumping at Ngaburong Cave for a massive adrenaline rush into turquoise natural pools. The Best Part:The island remains refreshingly unpretentious. It’s perfect for the independent traveler who values simple, honest hospitality. Everything here is straightforward and low-maintenance, making it easy to just relax and enjoy the scenery without the typical tourist-trap pressures. The Verdict: Skip the tourist traps and come here for a raw, beautiful, and peaceful escape. 10/10.
