The University City of Caracas is an outstanding example of the integration of urban, architectural and artistic concepts in the early 20th century, showing a creative interpretation of concepts, a sense of space in the colonial tradition, and a wide and airy design, all of which are very suitable for its tropical environment. The campus integrates a large number of buildings, including modern architecture and visual arts - such as the Olympic Stadium, the covered square and the Assembly Hall. Typical buildings include: the auditorium with a roof of "Cloud" by modern sculptor Alexander Calder, the Olympic Stadium and the covered square, which form a whole community that is interconnected and concrete.
