Reviews: Chongqing World Heritage Private Day Tour: Dazu Rock Carvings and Baoding Mountain

Dazu Rock Carvings, located in Dazu District, Chongqing, is one of the region's most important historical sites. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999 and is also ranked as a 5A-level tourist attraction in China. The ancient rock carvings, dating back over a thousand years, began around the 9th century during the early Tang Dynasty and continued until the 13th century during the Song Dynasty, spanning several hundred years. There are over 50,000 large and small stone sculptures/carves, along with over 100,000 Chinese characters inscribed, scattered across the cliffs of five major mountains: Beishan, Shizhuanshan, Shimenshan, Nanshan, and Baodingshan. Each site features unique styles, art, and themes, adding variety and charm to the viewing experience. The purchased day trip covered two locations: Beishan and Baodingshan. A guided tour of the Dazu Rock Carvings Museum was provided, with commentary throughout the various floors of the museum. I made the right decision buying this tour. It was worth it. I recommend it.

Reviews: 9 AM class|New 8-person group tour: Three Natural Bridges + Fairy Mountain Forest Park 1-day tour

A must-have for lazy travelers! This is a perfect day trip, saving you the hassle of planning. The entire journey is relaxed and enjoyable, with a safe and comfortable drive both ways. Our driver, Mr. Zhou, is very experienced and familiar with the tourist routes and attractions. He was waiting for us at the hotel early and was very talkative, introducing local highlights along the way. The wavy road at Fairy Mountain is definitely worth a visit, and Mr. Zhou even thoughtfully recommended the Three Natural Bridges photo spot. This package is definitely worth considering.

As expected of a World Heritage Site, the Wulong Karst Landform Scenic Area was a sight to behold. I kept exclaiming "Wow! Wow! Wow!" as I walked around, marveling at the wonders of nature. I finally understood what "majestic and rugged" truly meant. The entire itinerary was well-planned. First, we took a boat tour of the magnificent scenery along the Fuling section of the Wujiang Gallery, then visited the Three Natural Bridges, then the Longshuixia Gorge, and finally returned to the hotel. Driver Zhang was excellent; he communicated the departure time the day before and was punctual, driving smoothly and patiently answering all my questions. Five stars for Driver Zhang! 👍
Reviews: Chongqing Day Tour: Three Natural Bridges + Longshuixia Fissure Gorge + Fairy Mountain (8-Person Group Tour · Panoramic Experience)

This trip to Wulong truly exceeded my expectations! The driver was incredibly warm and attentive, the itinerary was well-planned, the Three Natural Bridges were breathtaking, and as we drove through the deep canyons, the magnificent natural stone bridges came into view. The filming location for "Curse of the Golden Flower" still retains its quaint, old-fashioned inn, creating a truly immersive atmosphere! The boardwalk in Longshuixia Gorge hugs the cliff face, with a babbling brook flowing beneath your feet. The snowscape at Fairy Mountain National Forest Park was a delightful surprise, with frost-covered branches and children taking photos with adorable camels—it felt like stepping into a winter wonderland. I highly recommend everyone come and experience this awe-inspiring natural wonder!
