It was a tour that made me feel like I got a good deal for the price! I became friends with the guide and he was very kind, giving me fruit at various points. Since we traveled long distances a lot, it would have been great if the van ride had been a little more comfortable!

Overall, a great trip, the temples and views were magnificent – they were simply stunning! It was definitely worth the effort and money. However, the organization of the trip could be improved. 1. I wish the guide had provided more historical information and details about the trip. For example, at the Thermal Springs stop, no one told us that in addition to seeing the springs, you could also warm up in them, but that was in a separate area. We found out for ourselves. 2. The bus was dirty: it was unpleasant to board it after the previous tourists – there was a lot of trash. 3. The time allotted at the White Temple stop was insufficient, as the entire group noticed; at least half an hour more is needed. 4. It would have been nice to inform tourists before leaving that there would be no opportunity to buy snacks at the stop; otherwise, we would have taken care of this in advance. 5. For those tourists who don't want to go on an excursion to the long-necked village, it's not very convenient to just wait for others. Pros: small group.

Our group of 12 people from three families made it a perfect group, allowing for precise time management. The tour guide and driver arranged by the travel agency were both good, although the vehicle was a bit old and there were many mosquitoes as soon as we boarded. In terms of the itinerary, the places we visited were all quite good. Chiang Rai hot springs, Long Neck Village, Black Temple, White Temple, and Blue Temple are all worth visiting once, but not twice. The kids had a great time playing on the seesaw at the Black Temple, and the small shops outside the temple sold sweet and delicious mini pineapples for 20 baht a bag. For international travel, booking through Ctrip is definitely the most reassuring option; everyone, young and old, had a great time.

The day trip covered all that was in the itinerary. I like that there is no hidden costs and it covered all the entrance tickets. The timing allowed at each venue was sufficient. The guide Viki and the driver were both professional. This tour is recommended if you have a full day to spare and wish to visit Chiangrai. The hot spring was boring but I understood that it was a rest/toilet break. The white temple is beautiful. Lalita Cafe, though pretty, with very nice potted orchids attached to trees and the countless koi fish in the pond, is overrated.
