Things to do in Zixing

The scenic area boasts stunning natural beauty, with red rocks and green waters creating a breathtaking contrast. Rock formations like Meili Tan, Longjibei, and Chongtian Yunti showcase the area's incredible artistry. The service is also exceptional; the seating is perfectly chosen, making Gaoyiling a trustworthy destination.

From April to the end of October each year, the main attraction is the misty Xiaodongjiang River. I don't know who came up with the idea of ​​fishermen casting their nets, but it's become a popular spot for taking photos. It's incredibly crowded in the mornings. Aside from the mist, the overall experience isn't particularly worthwhile. Taking the park shuttle bus all the way to the very back didn't offer much scenery.

The scenery here is beautiful and worth visiting. However, the route instructions in the itinerary are not detailed enough, making it inconvenient for independent travelers with cars. I especially suggest adding benches for tourists to rest and wait at the area where you can watch the fishermen cast their nets.

The scenery was beautiful! It was just too hot. Those with a bit more stamina can walk to the canyon and then back; the canyon is about 500 meters long and entirely a boardwalk over the water. We didn't buy tickets for the bamboo rafts, but instead bought tickets for a luxury cruise ship (the ship was very new, had air conditioning, and even offered a second-floor sightseeing experience). It also departed from Damianzhou Wharf, round trip to Wayaoping, for 100 yuan per person – incredibly good value!

The attraction is a bit small, but very unique. The bamboo rafts weave through the Danxia mountains, giving you a feeling of effortlessly navigating through countless peaks! On October 5th, we arrived at 8:30 am and didn't have to queue.

A Healing Journey at Bailang Scenic Area In October, autumn deepened in Chenzhou. We spent two days with our elderly family members enjoying a relaxing and restful stay at the Bailang Scenic Area on Dongjiang Lake. The lake was shrouded in mist in the early morning, reminiscent of a fairyland. Sunlight occasionally filtered through the clouds onto the water, creating a shimmering shimmer. Strolling along the lakeside, a gentle breeze caressed our faces, and the air was filled with a moist, refreshing scent that seemed to wash away all worries. We first checked into the Muni Hotel, a top-rated B&B. Its wooden furniture and warm lighting exuded a homely warmth. Opening the window, the panoramic view of the lake and mountains made it impossible not to breathe deeply and appreciate the gifts of nature. In the afternoon, we enjoyed tea and chatted in the hotel, the smiles of our elderly family members as warm as the sun. The next day, we moved to the second-ranked high-end Ramada Dongjiang Lake. Its facilities are exquisite and comfortable, and from the lobby to the guest rooms, every detail exudes elegance and sophistication. Standing on the spacious balcony, we could take in the sweeping lake view, with the distant mountains looming through the mist, like a flowing landscape painting. In the evening, we enjoyed local specialties at a restaurant near the hotel. Fresh lake fish and fragrant wild vegetables captivated our taste buds, captivating the beauty of this breathtaking landscape. Though simple, these two days were filled with warmth and comfort. The beauty of Bailang Scenic Area lies not only in the tranquility of the lake and mountains, but also in its ability to slow down and spend quality time with family. Whether in the warm atmosphere of the Muni Hotel or the elegant surroundings of the Ramada, we felt a sense of comfort and relaxation. This trip to Bailang was like a gentle song, warming the years and healing the soul. It taught us that the most beautiful scenery isn't just in front of us, but in every moment spent with our families.

I booked the tickets at the entrance, which got me a discount of over ten yuan. Driving up the mountain cost 20 yuan per vehicle. Both times I visited Huilong Mountain, I was lucky enough to see the sunrise, sunset, and misty clouds – it was so beautiful!

Mahuangqiu is easy to climb, the scenery is beautiful, and it's completely free! Go early and bring an umbrella, you can easily enjoy the scenery of the sky and mountains. It will be more convenient to drive yourself. If you are tired of climbing, you can go to the nearby Longweiping to take a bamboo raft (20 per person, the master adds another 20, but unfortunately you can't slide by yourself) to relax. Longjing Canyon is located in Zixing City, Hunan Province. It is a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating sightseeing, leisure and health, and water entertainment. The canyon has the largest waterfall group in southern my country, the Longjing water slide, and the negative oxygen ion gathering area. It is a good tourist attraction.
