We had a fantastic day, thanks to the driver we could explore the sights at our own pace and had the comfort of leaving whenever we wanted to. Without the guide it would be impossible to see both sights on one day.★

The journey was started very early and was unable to take hotel breakfast. You have to reach the meeting point at the latest 6.55am. The tour bus was arrived in time. I was started the journey with empty stomach and it was very cold in the morning at Datong. The young lady tour guide was very experienced and professional. She was able to manage the entire group (31pax) efficiently. She answered our questions patiently and the driver was very steady. The entire daily trip was smooth and peaceful.★

The view was spectacular, and the passport entry was very good. One suggestion you could comment on is the transportation to the caves. I don't think they offer a ticket plus travel. You can go from Datong by taxi and return by taxi. Or you can go and return by two buses. We opted to go by taxi and return by bus because we weren't in a hurry.
