▲ Kamen' Cherskogo is located at the top of the famous Mount Chersky, offering a spectacular vantage point to overlook Lake Baikal. It presents picturesque scenery all year round: lush forests in spring and summer, vibrant autumn foliage, and snow-covered landscapes in winter, with the vast and majestic beauty of Lake Baikal fully visible. From the foot of the mountain, a leisurely walk along the trail takes about 20 min to reach Kamen' Cherskogo. Alternatively, you can take the cable car and then walk a short distance further until you spot the small pavilion at the summit—that's the spot.

▲ Tal'tsy, also known as the Wooden Architecture Museum, is located on the eastern shore of Lake Baikal, nestled in a birch forest that gives it the appearance of an open-air park. The museum reconstructs four historical and cultural zones of the Baikal region: Russian, Buryat, Tofalar, and Evenki settlements. All structures here feature authentic wooden architecture, exuding rustic charm with classic Russian residential styles, serving as a vivid portrayal of the living conditions of both Russians and Buryats. Among its dozens of buildings and 8,000 exhibits, visitors can see Evenki animal hides and birch bark tents, traditional Buryat yurts, ancient Russian-Buryat wooden cabins, as well as hay sheds, granaries, bathhouses, and chicken coops – each exhibit fascinating and steeped in historical significance.

▲ The Baikal Museum is an aquarium museum located more than 2 km west of Listvyanka at the mouth of the Angara River. It can be reached on foot from the town or by stopping halfway from Irkutsk to the town for a visit. The museum showcases Lake Baikal's ecosystem, historical landscape, and diverse flora and fauna, featuring numerous virtual films, rich display formats, and interactive activities that provide comprehensive insights about the lake. Though not particularly large in size, the museum offers exceptionally rich content. Beyond detailed introductions about Lake Baikal, it displays numerous animal specimens and 3D animations showcasing the lake's ecosystem, including its unique freshwater seals. Visitors can also enjoy the "adorable" seal performances, making it an ideal destination for families with children.
