Mount Siguniang, known as "Shigulayou Da" in Tibetan, is located in Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and belongs to the Qionglai Mountain Range. The attraction consists of four snow-capped peaks - Da Feng, Er Feng, San Feng, and Yaomei Feng - as well as three valleys: Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley, and Haizi Valley. The main peak, Yaomei Feng, stands at 6,250 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak in the Qionglai Mountains.
This area boasts diverse landforms, well-developed modern glaciers, and significant vertical climate variations, nurturing rare animals such as giant pandas and golden snub-nosed monkeys, as well as protected plants like the Sichuan larch. As a settlement of the Jiarong Tibetans, the region preserves unique Tibetan-Qiang cultural traditions, with the Mountain Pilgrimage Festival on the fourth day of the fifth lunar month being a distinctive folk celebration. The attraction features stunning landscapes including snow-capped mountains, meadows, and alpine lakes, making it a popular destination for mountaineering, hiking, sightseeing, and photography.
Note: During holidays, the attraction tends to be crowded. To ensure sufficient activity duration, the departure time will be 30-60 minutes earlier. The exact time will be confirmed by customer support one day before your trip.
