Bali Travel Tips
1. Dress code
● In Bali, lightweight summer clothing is suitable year-round, but it's advisable to bring a thin jacket to cope with temperature drops in the early morning/evening or overly air-conditioned rooms/vehicles.
2. Cash and bank cards
●Bali does not accept Chinese Yuan (CNY). You need to exchange CNY for Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) before traveling abroad. Please contact the customer support of major banks for exchange methods, and be sure to complete the exchange in advance.
3. Electronics & Electrical Appliances
●The power outlets in Bali differ from those in China, featuring two round pins or three flat pins. Chinese electrical plugs cannot be used directly and require a plug adapter. While hotel front desks usually have some available, the quantity is limited. We recommend purchasing a Europlug adapter in advance from large domestic supermarkets or online electronics stores.
4. Medicine
● Bring essential medications such as cold medicine, stomach medicine, band-aids, essential balm, and motion sickness pills.
●If you have conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, or diabetes, be sure to bring an adequate supply of backup medication based on your condition and carry it with you at all times.
5. Local Information
●Climate: Bali is hot and humid year-round with no distinct seasons, featuring an average annual temperature of around 28°C.
●Time difference: Bali time is the same as Beijing time (GMT+8), with no time difference
6. Transportation: In Bali, vehicles drive on the left side of the road, which is opposite to China. When crossing the street, look right first, then left, and always obey traffic rules.
