While the buildings are mostly reconstructed, it's still quite enjoyable to visit, especially with kids. It took us almost three hours to see everything. The Korqin wool felt products were quite interesting, and I bought my child a hat. The jade workshop in the back made realistic dishes from various stones, which made us hungry. One of the young craftsmen is hearing-impaired and has no upper limbs. When we walked by, he was carving with his feet, which was truly awe-inspiring.

After a day of city exploration, dragging myself back to Antu Manxi, exhausted, I truly understood what a healing haven on a journey feels like. The most delightful surprise of this trip to Tongliao was choosing the right hotel. Having seen countless generic, minimalist business-style hotels, this one's British retro ambiance was truly captivating. Stepping into the lobby, the hustle and bustle of the surrounding commercial district instantly disappeared. Warm, vintage lighting gently bathed the room, complemented by tasteful soft furnishings and artistic paintings, with exquisite trinkets scattered throughout. There was no overly flashy, trendy embellishment; instead, it was serene and gentle, like stepping into a low-key British private residence deep within the city. Walking through the corridors, the soft light and shadows on the wall decorations helped my tense nerves relax after a long day. The impeccable service was a huge plus. The staff were gentle and polite, never overly enthusiastic or intimidating, yet always quick and appropriate to address any needs. The front desk staff were efficient and quick during check-in, clearly explaining the usage guidelines for the underground parking, gym, and laundry room. They also generously shared recommendations for local favorites and eateries. The communication was relaxed and natural, without any mechanical pleasantries. After check-in, any minor issues were quickly resolved with a single phone call. In an unfamiliar city, this reassuring approach was incredibly comforting. Stepping into the guest room, a rich British vintage atmosphere greeted me. Vintage floor lamps, flowing fabric curtains, and artistic artwork on the walls created a warm and sophisticated color scheme. The room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light, making it feel open and airy. The cleanliness was impeccable. Tables, windowsills, and even the nooks and crannies of the bathroom were spotless. The air was fresh and free of any unpleasant odors. The bedding was soft and supple, and the mattress was perfectly firm. After a long day of walking, lying down on the bed allowed all the aches and pains to slowly disappear. Beneath its retro exterior, the hotel boasts a full suite of modern smart features. Smart lighting and electric curtains are easy to operate, striking a perfect balance between retro aesthetics and modern comfort. Located next to a bustling commercial district, the hotel enjoys a vibrant atmosphere downstairs, but the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Closing the door completely shuts out the outside noise, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Housekeeping is exceptionally meticulous, with daily visits ensuring your belongings are neatly organized and that drinking water and toiletries are replenished proactively. Many details don't require specific reminders. The amenities are also comprehensive: a clean self-service laundry room makes changing clothes a breeze; the gym is fully equipped, allowing you to exercise in your spare time; the underground parking is ample, making it easy to get there by car; and the lobby offers complimentary tea, a perfect place to relax after shopping. It's suitable for both leisurely travel and business trips. The breakfast area continues this British elegance in a quiet and pleasant environment. The food selection is extensive, with a full range of Chinese and Western dishes, including hot dishes, porridge, pastries, fruits, and drinks, incorporating many local specialties. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are authentic. Enjoy a leisurely and hearty breakfast in the morning, and you'll be full of energy for the whole day. The location is superb, right next to a shopping district, making dining, shopping, and leisure incredibly convenient. Step outside to embrace the vibrant local life, and return to the hotel to enjoy tranquility and peace. Having traveled to many places and stayed in countless hotels, it's rare to find one that balances atmosphere, cleanliness, and service so perfectly.

The museum and ruins park are free, but the ruins exhibition hall is charged. The exhibition hall displays several ash pit tombs, one of which is believed to be the earliest remaining wooden house. Several of the tombs contain human remains. The museum's most valuable treasure is the gray pottery pig.

Zhang Xueliang's former residence is a must-see attraction in Shenyang Fangjie Cultural Tourism Area. The architecture is distinctive and perfect for taking photos. I went during the National Day holiday, and the queue at the entrance was extremely long; I waited for over an hour to get in. Once inside, if you wanted to go upstairs to continue your visit, you had to queue for another half hour or more. The overall experience was very poor, and the orderliness of the scenic area needs improvement. The Financial Museum wasn't very popular; it mainly discusses the history of Northeast China's economy and world currencies, which was rather boring.

The scenery on the grassland is very beautiful, with herds of cattle and sheep in the pastures, and the scenery is best in summer when wild flowers are in full bloom.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

It's a bit far from downtown Changchun, about an hour's drive away. The automatic parking system at the entrance was a first for me, and it was free! There were even volunteers to show you how to use it – so thoughtful! The place is incredibly large; walking is impossible. A bus ride around it takes over 40 minutes. The most beautiful area is near the dam, not far from the entrance!
