- Aomori railway entire line
- IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway entire line
- Sendai airport railway entire line
- Sanriku railway entire line
- Hokuhoku express line (entire route)
- Echigo tokimeki railway: Naoetsu-Arai section
- Limited express trains "Nikko," "Kinugawa," and "SPACIA Kinugawa" with reserved ordinary seats operating on JR East and Tobu Railway lines.
- You can take local trains (including rapid trains) on the Tobu Railway line between Shimo-Imaichi and Tobu Nikko or Kinugawa Onsen.
- The "Kurihashi-Shimo-Imaichi" section is only accessible by limited express trains connecting with Tobu Railway.
- JR bus within the applicable area (excluding express buses and some special route buses)
- BRT is the abbreviation for bus rapid transit.
- The JR East Japan rail pass is only valid for limited express trains connecting from JR lines to Tobu Railway.
◆ Unavailable trains:
- You cannot take limited express trains with Tobu Railway stations as the starting or arrival station. (For limited express trains to Tochigi Station, Shinkanuma Station, Shimoimaichi Station, Tobu Nikko Station, Tobu World Square Station, or Kinugawa Onsen Station, the departure or arrival station must be a JR line station.)
- The JR East Japan rail pass is not valid for the Tokaido Shinkansen. (Due to different operating companies for the Tokaido Shinkansen)
- Not applicable to the Izu Kyuko Line/Fuji Kyuko Line. (Outside service area)
◆ Booking eligibility:
- The JR pass is only available to travelers visiting Japan for sightseeing purposes. To purchase this pass, you must hold a passport issued by a government other than Japan and possess a "temporary visitor" visa.
- Short-term stay visas: Tourist visa, business visa, three-year multiple-entry tourist visa, etc.
- When entering Japan, please use the automated lane with staff or ask airport personnel to stamp "temporary visitor" or attach a "temporary visitor" sticker to redeem the JR Pass.
- - The same passenger is not allowed to purchase or redeem multiple identical tickets for the same period.
- Only available to foreign travelers holding non-Japanese passports (not available for Japanese citizens)

- Adult: aged 12 or above
- Child: 6–11 years of age
- If a designated seat is required for children 5 years or under, a child pass must be purchased.
- The round-trip pass is not applicable for youth deals (including student deals).
- The age limit for children is based on their age on the ticket purchase date. The child's passport or other age verification documents must be presented.

1. Reserved seat tickets can be booked at designated seat ticket machines installed in JR East Japan areas.
※ Some redemption locations do not allow the use of reserved seat ticket machines for passes issued there.
2. Reserved seat tickets can be issued at JR East Japan's "JR ticket offices (Midori-no-Madoguchi)" and "JR East Japan travel service centers (JR EAST Travel Service Center)".
※ Reserved seat tickets are not available at ticket offices outside JR East Japan, such as "JR Tokai", "Tokyo Metro", "Odakyu Electric Railway", and "Keisei Electric Railway".
