80% of guests ask:

Q: Besides the swans, what other great attractions are there to see in one day?

From Weihai to Rongcheng, besides watching swans dancing gracefully, the local "seaweed-thatched house" villages are another distinctive feature. Additionally, you can visit Cheng Shan Tou and the wildlife park along the way. A day trip offers quite a fulfilling experience.

Q: We are staying in Rongcheng, can you pick us up? Does the departure time need to be very early?

A: We provide pick-up services within the Weihai city area or Rongcheng region. Additionally, the number of swans doesn't vary significantly at different times, so you can basically choose the departure time that suits you best.

Attractions:

Cheng Shan Tou

Cheng Shan Tou is located at the easternmost tip of China, a place where you can witness the sunrise over the sea. Since ancient times, it has been hailed as "the place where the sun rises" and is known as "China's Cape of Good Hope." Here, the towering cliffs and roaring waves create a majestic and awe-inspiring scene, with the sunrise spectacle being truly unparalleled in the world. Standing on Cheng Shan Tou and gazing at the vast ocean, one can't help but feel a sense of the endless horizon.

Yandunjiao

This is a harmonious fishing village in Rongcheng where humans and nature coexist peacefully. The village is named Yandunjiao after the ancient beacon tower (also called smoke mound) built on Mount Gu to the east for enemy warnings. Every winter, hundreds of whooper swans migrate to the bay south of the village, allowing close interactions between visitors and these majestic birds, earning the small fishing village the nickname "Swan Village." Located in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province at the eastern tip of the Shandong Peninsula, Yandunjiao boasts a thousand-mile coastline dotted with bays and capes, abundant marine resources including fish, shrimp, shellfish, and algae, and enjoys a warm temperate monsoon humid climate. The Rongcheng Whooper Swan Nature Reserve has been established here. From November to April each year, tens of thousands of whooper swans from Siberia winter in the numerous lakes and bays along Rongcheng's coast, collectively known as the Rongcheng Swan Lakes. Yandunjiao Swan Lake is one of them.

Shendiaoshan Wildlife Park

Xixiakou Wildlife Park, also known as "Shendiaoshan Wildlife Nature Reserve," is located in Xixiakou Village, Chengshan Town, Weihai (Rongcheng) City, Shandong Province. With a total investment exceeding 100 million CNY, the park covers an area of 3,800 mu (approximately 253 hectares) and features various animal habitats including the Predator Zone, Herbivore Zone, Marine Animal Zone, African Animal Zone, Bear Paradise, Bird Garden, Raptor Garden, Ape Garden, Wolf Mountain, Monkey Mountain, Golden Monkey Pavilion, and Panda Pavilion. It stands as one of China's largest and most uniquely styled coastal wildlife nature reserves.

Liugong Island

Liugong Island is located in Weihai Bay at the eastern tip of Shandong Peninsula, boasting rich and unique cultural views. It features millennium-old Warring States relics, the beautiful legend of Liu Gong and Liu Mu from the Han Dynasty, as well as historical sites from the First Sino-Japanese War such as the Beiyang Fleet Headquarters, Naval Academy, and ancient forts from the Qing Dynasty. Additionally, there are numerous European-style buildings left from the British lease period. Known as the "Eastern Barrier" and the "Unsinkable Warship," the island has steep sea cliffs in the north and gentle, rolling terrain in the south, with a forest coverage rate of 87%. It is often praised as a "Fairyland on the Sea" and a "Paradise on Earth."
