Then arrive at Watarrka National Park where Kings Canyon Carpark is located, and begin your Kings Canyon Carpark hiking adventure.
Along the ridge, you can admire steep cliffs, deep canyons, and winding cloud ladders, descend to the desert oasis known as Eden Garden, then return from the opposite side of the canyon. The entire journey takes 3.5 to 4 hours.
You can also choose the relaxing riverbed hiking tour to explore the lush canyon riverbed (approx. 1-hour round-trip).
Afterwards, proceed to King Creek Farm Rest Stop for lunch (at your own expense).
On the way back to Uluru, stop at the Mt. Conner lookout to view the mountain from afar, or walk up the sand dunes on the other side for a distant view of Lake Amadeus salt lake.
