We had a wonderful experience at Shilin Residence Chrysathemum Flower festival. Its was free entry on 10 Dec and there were musical performances on the centre stage. The exhibits will definitely attract any flower enthusiats! The place was huged and the exhibits were beautiful. We shopped at the bazzar too! My three-year-old enjoyed the trip too, he helped to take pictures. It's only a 10 minutes walk from Shilin Metro Station. #taipeitravel #shilin

#bucketlistreboot Shilin Official Residence is historical site open to the public. Formerly is the home Chiang Kai Shek. As strictly no picture around, it’s very tricky to sneak a snap of the residence. The range of bedroom, study room and also guests room are fully displayed. No, you cannot walk to sit at the chairs or sofa, just look. Saw a range of old clothings from Mrs Chiang. It is surrounded by greenery and garden. Picture shared included one of his transport during the days in office. Entry to the garden is for free but to enter the residence , 100NTD. Again, try to get Taiwan Pass that cover the entrance . To get here it is pretty easy, just use the transit to Shilin station.

Probably the best park in Taipei. Everything is new, everything is green. Fresh air, wonderful views, excellent Instagram photos. It’s a bit hot in afternoon, but have a lot of places where you can hide from sunshine. Getting There - short walk from Shilin MRT station (around 7-8 minutes) Attractions - nice photos for your Instagram Hotels, Food & Restaurants - next to the park is Renaissance Hotel Taipei. You can stop by for some coffee or nice Chinese dinner. #taipeitravel #summertrip

#springblossom Tulip flowers awesome time. Most amazing experience. The place was filled with flowers. No entry ticket. Anyone can go to see. I really loved the place. You will be amazing after seeing different wonderful colors of nature. Well decorated.Great weather today and not a lot of people. Beautiful flowers and well arranged. It's a pity that some of the main display weren't open and the next season of flowers were not ready yet. Definitely come back when they're all set up.

At present, only a private villa is retained in the residence, and the rest is open to the public. The food is delicious. The price is cheap. So much is only more than rmb200. The closer one is in Tianmu. You can take a bus. Tianmu belongs to Shilin, clean, old rich area ➡️I went to Yangmingshan by the way, Tianmu can take a taxi directly, it's very cheap, there are many restaurants along the way, and there are former US military dormitories when you go down, now they are all restaurants.
