Pet-friendly American Diner
Situated alongside the scenic Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park, @route99_hk is a vintage American diner that is spaciously designed with plenty of photo ops and pet-friendly furniture for your puppy to join in the meal (the name 99 literally sounds like ‘dog dog’ in Canto)
We were the only ones seated in a separate room for non pet-owners (boo-hoo) when we came for early dinner. The dinner set included a creamy pumpkin soup, coleslaw salad, a main dish of your choice and drinks. Like a true American diner, the portions were so big that we left with a super full belly.
[Texas Burger]
The whopping burger was a mouthful of crispy bacon, fried onions, jalapenos, lettuce, gooey cheese and a juicy patty dressed up with BBQ sauce. We added $28 for the Route 99 fries, which was evilly delicious with bacon chips, cheese and thousand island sauce.
[Pesto Shrimp Pasta]
This was a little bit too spicy for me due to the chili flakes, but I still enjoyed the sweet shrimps and chewy pasta covered in herby pesto sauce and crunchy pine nuts.
[New York Cheesecake]
We had to add $38 for this ultra velvety cheesecake instead of $28 as stated on the menu, but it was all worth it. A crumbly sponge cake base replaced the usual digestive biscuit crust, making it quite unique.
[Drinks]
We upgraded our drinks for $28 each. The immune booster was a healthy fruity mix of orange, lemon and green apple plus a warm hint of ginger. The vanilla milkshake was a satisfying guilty pleasure with a smooth frothy texture.

Today at noon, I went to Shikengkou Donggang City Shenshiburn. I think the price is very high, so I want to recommend it to everyone. The lunch card can choose a set meal or put the question. I have always eaten the lunch set meal. I saw that the burger has good reviews and the price is the most flat. I was curious why the restaurant would recommend the flatest meal instead of the expensive beef. I ordered a burger meal and tried it. Sea salt, black pepper and toilet paper are placed in front of each seat, which is very intimate. There is also a buffet salad bar, including miscellaneous salad, soup, pearl rice and hot and cold water. The main character is on the show: two burgers for $50, and I have an additional beef shoulder to try. The burger is served with hot burnt stone, which keeps the temperature long and cooks the burger quickly. The burger is just moist and juicy after cooking, and the simmering juice is just right. The beef tongue radish soup is also very delicious, but the western lettuce with the mixed vegetable salad is a bit bitter. The environment is good, but the smoking system is weak. Basically, the smoke is scattered after more than one person in the restaurant, which affects the quality of eating. Points are deducted here. The restaurant also promotes membership. If you like to eat roast meat, you are worth considering, because the membership fee is $1500 to $1800 cash coupons, and there are discounts on weekdays and birthdays. Now you can also draw a lottery for spending more than $150! Today's rating: food***environment**price****
