We had an amazing time learning about Sichuan culture and cuisine plus Chengdu local life with Jerry. Upon meeting he took us to the neighbor market and walked us from stall to stall, explaining the uses/significance of seemingly every product around. Very comfortable experience. He clearly enjoys showing and explaining everything and nothing felt rushed while we took in the market. Then for the cooking class, we prepared three essentiap Sichuan dishes alongside Jerry and some school chefs who all walked us through the process. Everything was explained thoroughly and appropriately before starting and it came out great in the end. We came out satisfied with the experience and proud of the level of cooking we had produced! Perfect for people wanting to learn more about Sichuan food and the region as a whole. We knew a little about the cuisine prior to the class but learned a ton of new things in the process. We also felt that this is suitable for total newcomers too.

The driver was very friendly, helpful and patient. On the way back to chengdu, we got traffic jam and stuck for around 2 hours, but he was stay cool and still offering us to stop by for dinner. We went there not on the winter season, so bipenggou was no snow at all. But the lake was very beautiful. At dagu glacier, at the top 4860mdpl there were eternal snow

The painting teacher and the school headmaster were both exceptionally kind and attentive—genuinely caring hosts who guided us with great patience. A fluent English-speaking interpreter was present the entire time and assisted with everything, including arranging transport. She also shared fascinating insights into local customs and everyday life in China. The result was a deeply authentic, hands-on experience that felt personal and thoughtfully curated rather than touristy. I had a great experience with the team. At the beginning I couldn't find the access to the building, I mean I was there but it doesn't look like a commercial building (for me looked more as private departments) but the contact was very quick to help me and made a videocall to guide me, inside of the place was very cute and girly. The staff didn't speak English but they were very professional. They asked me if I had an idea of my make up and hairstyle which I didn't but I loved what they did to me. The photographer was a young cute boy who also didn't speak that much of english but was very friendly, guided me very well and made me feel comfortable. I fully recommend this experience for solo female travelers. The pictures are the raw ones. I still don't get the edited ones but they're on time and I loved these ones without editing.


