Things to know before booking
1. After a successful purchase, you will receive an AREX Airport Express redemption voucher. This voucher cannot be used directly on-site.
2. You need to use the ticket vending machine to exchange for a physical ticket. Or book an e-ticket in advance on the official website.
3. The one-way ticket can be used for "from the airport to Seoul Station" or "from Seoul Station to the airport."

5. During peak periods, we recommend checking schedules in advance. 1. The AREX airport express is called "Express Train (Non-Stop)" in English.
The on-site directional signs currently have an orange background, which is for reference only.

Option 1: Use the on-site self-service ticket machine to redeem a physical ticket.
1) Please locate the ticket vending machines shown in the diagram below. After collecting your luggage, follow the airport signs for "Airport Railroad" to find the ticket machines. If you're boarding at Seoul Station, also follow the signs for "Airport Railroad" to reach the correct floor, then look for the ticket machines under the "Express Train" signs.
2) The ticket machines are labeled "Express Train."
Before using the ticket machine, you can switch to your preferred language.
4) Follow the instructions in the image below and enter the 13-digit ticket number to exchange for a physical ticket.
5) After obtaining the physical ticket, proceed to the express line boarding gate and scan the code to enter.
6) Locate the corresponding train car based on your ticket's train number and carriage, then wait to board.

Method 2: Book your departure time slot in advance on the official website (Note: Once booked, it is considered used. You must arrive at the selected departure time slot and time for usage.)

1. Switch to your preferred language in the upper right corner of the webpage.
2. Select "Departure station", "Arrival station", "Date", "Time slot", "Passenger type", and "Number of passengers", then tap "Search trains".
3. Based on the filtering in step 2, select your preferred train from the provided options and tap "Train Reservation D". A pop-up window will appear - please select "Non-member Purchase".
For first-time users: Enter the email address to receive your e-ticket, tap "Confirm", then follow the instructions to enter the one-time verification code and set a 6-digit password (you create and must remember this password. The official website will display this as a ticket pickup number). Tap sign in/confirm.
Returning guests: Enter the email address to receive the e-ticket and the "6-digit pick-up code" under the email field. Please enter a 6-digit password. Tap to sign in.
5. After completing the previous step, your booking page will appear here. Please double-check the selected departure time slot. Seats are automatically assigned, but you can select "Change seats" if needed. After verifying the information, select "next".
6. After completing the previous step, a pop-up window will display "Purchase T-Money Subway Card." Please select "Exit."
7. On the booking page, pull down and tap "Select discount".
8. Tap the "Promo Code/Discount Code" section and enter the 13-digit ticket number shown on the e-voucher.
9. After completing the previous step, an e-ticket will be generated. Please keep the e-ticket for boarding the AREX train.
