For those of you who are worried about walking around, I highly recommend signing up for a tour and exploring Jeju Island comfortably!! We were able to comfortably tour the famous spots in southern Jeju by bus! Also, our guide Peter was kind and enthusiastic, so it was a comfortable trip. The witty explanations about Jeju Island that our foreign husband gave on the bus were very useful because they were things he was curious about, and I also had a lot of fun listening to them👏👏✨ Lastly, luckily, it snowed right when we went to Hallasan Mountain, so we had a happy white Christmas!! 🤍✨🎄★

I didn’t expect wind to become the main character of our trip, but it did. It shaped the day—and somehow made it better. Traveling with my mom and sister on Love Korea’s East Jeju tour felt thoughtful and well cared for. Our guide moved gently through the schedule, sharing small details about local life that made everything feel real. The haenyeo stories stayed with me the most. Hearing about their breath-holding dives, their worn tools, and their lifelong connection to the sea filled me with respect. Walking through Seongheung Folk Village felt like stepping into another time. Then came Micheongul Lava Cave—wide, natural, overwhelming in the best way. We laughed about taking nearly a thousand photos, especially the family ones our guide helped us with. Warm lunch in the historic village ended the day perfectly. Windy or not, this became a memory I’ll keep.
