Reviews: Desert View Grand Canyon Jeep Tour

We went on the desert view tour with Frank today and it was AMAZING! Frank was an awesome guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon, its vegetation, its formations and its wild life. We leaned so much during our 3 hours! Frank was very attentive to our needs, because it was cool so he put the sides down for us and of course as the day went on it warmed up and he had to put them back up. Frank stood in line for us at the Desert View observation tower to get tickets for us while we visited the restroom and gift shop. It was a great trip and I would definitely recommend this to anybody wanting to tour the Grand Canyon and learn a wealth of knowledge. Frank was the Best!

Outstanding tour of the Canyon. Leo, our guide and driver for the day, was a mine of information. We were collected from our hotel in Flagstaff on time, then picked up two others at their hotels, so off we went to the Canyon with Leo telling us more about places we passed on the trip.  She had everything timed to perfection. After lunch, events had to be managed slightly due to the arrival of heavy rain, however, Leo had us covered, so to speak, by providing individual umbrellas. We always felt safe with her at the helm. We would recommend Dave's tours to all.

Al was our awesome guide. He is super friendly and shared so much information with us from beginning to end. He covered it all - history, geology, geography, Native American culture, etc. We saw so many amazing things. He even made a little detour when we spotted some elk. I highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed!

Mark Friedman is the best tour guide! My sister and I took the Grand Canyon day trip to see the Grand Canyon for the first time and were not disappointed. Highly recommend taking this tour. Mark knows everything about the Grand Canyon and Arizona history and his knowledge made this experience so much better than if we had gone ourselves. He had so much to share! So many excellent views, an excellent stop for some Navajo fry bread at Cameron trading post, and even a small walk/hike along the South Rim.

3 adults, 2-16 yr olds and 9 yr old. Grandkids were visiting, youngest was learning about Grand Canyon at school in KC. Werner was our guide and he lives near and off the grid so he could certainly explain and respect the Grand Canyon National Park and he was very knowledgeable about facts, history, and our Eco system. It had rained the 5 previous days, but he was prepared with blankets and was willing to make this a perfect experience. Grandkids: said he did an amazing job and gave us interesting facts and he was a funny guy. He was patient and understanding when someone wanted to take pictures. Youngest said she liked that he told us what everything was named and where to look. Adults—we had a great time, we all learned a lot and found the tour very interesting. When 3 kids can spend 3 hours and be entertained and happy-woohoo!! Thank you Werner.

Our tour guide, Keaton was excellent. He was prompt on pickup, interested in what we wanted to get from the tour, and how he could meet our expectations. His knowledge of The Canyon, from hiking extensively in many areas, leading tours for 7-8 years, his studied knowledge of geology and history dovetailed everything into a comprehensive tour. He was aware of all our needs, water, van comfort, and restroom breaks. We never had a need or question that was not addressed immediately and with pleasure. Would book with them for another tour if needed.
