Reviews: Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial Small Group Tour

Riley was a great tour host. We went to a few sites (drive by) before heading to the Memorial. She provided clear background information and answered any questions that we had. At the memorial she couldn't go with us, but gave us some key pointers to look for and reminded of is our times. We wish we had more time there, but is was a memorable tour for sure.

A visit to Pearl harbor and the USS Arizona would not be complete if you did not visit the USS Missouri located on Ford Island. Ford island used to be completely off limits to civilians, but has now opened up to allow visits to the USS Missouri and the aircraft museum located by the historical air tower that still stands. The island is still a working base, so the rest is off limits unless you have military credentials. Again I must visit to honor a place where world war 2 started iconic USS Arizona and the place where it ended on the deck of the USS Missouri.

The driver was great (Kimo). During the trip to the memorial he told us about the memorial but also about Hawaiian culture in general. It was really appreciated. I highly recommend 😊👍

The tour began with a bit of history and fun facts about the state of Hawaii and Honolulu as we toured the city. Once we reached the memorial, we had time to explore it and the museums within the grounds. I recommend visiting the submarine museum, although admission is not included in the tour price. Our guide, Kimo, was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We went on the Pearl Harbor tour of the USS Arizona and USS Missouri. Following the tour, we did a quick city tour where Marlon shared tons of historical facts about the island. The USS Missouri Battleship was one of our favorites as it was very engaging and you were able to tour the entire battleship.
