Activities & Attractions: Ananuri Fortress Complex (Free entry) Ananuri fortress dates to XVI-XVIII centuries and it is situated on the foreland by the river Aragvi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. This is a perfect place for landscape photography, there are amazingly beautiful views of the fortress and Jinvali reservoir together. The fortress remained in use until the beginning of the 19th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site program. 40 min(s)

Activities & Attractions: Mineral Springs (Free entry) Jvari Pass Travertine Natural Monument is calcareous sinter or tufa in Baidara River valley (2197 m). It was formed when carbonate minerals precipitate out of ambient temperature water. Activities & Attractions: Stepantsminda (Free entry) Stepantsminda stands out on the map of Georgia, not just for being just eleven kilometres from the northern border of the country, but also due to the fact that one of the oldest crossroads between Europe and Asia passes through the town. Activities & Attractions: Gergeti Trinity Church (Free entry) Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village. The church's location is the right bank of the Chkheri river under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level. Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century, and this is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet Era, soviets prohibited religious services, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. The church is an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. You will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley from the church. Due to the church’s isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature remains Georgia's most iconic tourist attraction.
