Crystal River Clear Kayak Manatee Tour: A Magical Experience Our clear kayak tour at Crystal River was truly wonderful. While you should expect crowds of other kayakers and swimmers, the payoff is worth it. It’s important to note that the water isn’t crystal clear everywhere; rather, there are specific pockets of high visibility where you can see straight to the bottom. The manatees often swim directly under your kayak, which is an incredible sight. Our guide was fantastic, navigating us away from the busier spots to find a quiet area where we could watch the manatees. Seeing the mothers with their babies was easily the highlight of the trip!

Andrew and Capt Jake were EXCELLENT!!! Knowledgeable, friendly and a very relaxing experience!!!! It was my 75th Birthday and they made it memorable!!! In 2hours 24 manatees passed under and around me. This was the Perfect Birthday gift.

This was a great experience Our guide, captain Glenn Wilsey knew all about the area and the manatee. He had stories from years of adventures. I would highly recommend this tour.
