We had a beautiful day with Nico - he was a fantastic guide and beautiful person. The cave of Zeus was closed so Nico improvised- he knows so many people in the mountains - so he was able to take us to a local family who makes fresh goat yogurt- that we were able to sample. He took us to a lovely mountain top restaurant , sampled the fresh produce of the mountains and great history lesson of Crete. The palace of Knossos was incredible to see and experience. Nico made the day incredible and special for us.

Kostas was such a hospitable and knowledgeable guide. A source of all things historical and cretian we were impressed by his communication, attention to detail and general care for our experience. I would highly recommend Kostas whatever your needs may be as he was able to customize eveything to our needs; make recommendations and changes as needed and on the fly. We stopped at the most wonderful local taverna in herklion during our travels and really were able to maximize our short time in this beautiful place. If you’re thinking about booking Kostas and his team don’t think anymore and book! Thank you!

our tour guide Magda was just amazing, so welcoming and informative. both Magda and our driver made the whole experience very personal, we felt very lucky to be the only ones on the tour. the lake at Zaros was beautiful and very peaceful as we arrived early before it got busy, all the staff in the cafe were friendly and the coffee was great. we then travelled to Phaistos, well worth a visit if you enjoy archeology in it's pure form. Then on to Matala where we browsed the many fabulous shops and enjoyed lunch at The Petra & Votsalo recommended by our driver, food was amazing. Big thank you to Magda and our driver for a fabulous day.

Alex was a great host and guide. He made sure we had proper directions to get to his place and started on time. We then hopped on our eco-bikes and toured the city with Alex filling in details about the history of the city. We finished the tour back at his place with a nice mezze.
