John picked us up from our hotel on time. We really enjoyed him as a tour guide (and driver of the 4x4!) as he was super knowledgeable about our surroundings and very friendly. We stopped a few times for views and were able to take photos, toilet breaks etc. there wasn't any walking involved and the drive takes you to all the important and scenic stops. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again John!★

Took this tour on 6 Nov 25. The jeep picked us up from the hotel bang on time. Franc our guide was extremely charming and gave us lots of information about the island throughout the day. There was a good variety of stops, unfortunately the pools at Porto Moniz were closed due to the large waves but these were spectacular to watch. Great to find the Witch's Tree in Fanal Forest and the off road section through the forest on the way home was the highlight. I would highly recommend this trip.★

Wow this tour was the most entertaining and thrilling ones I have been on. When it comes to diving on very curvy narrow and steep roads, our driver was pro. Tony was so funny, we were just laughing and holding onto the rails while he drove us everywhere. The spot we went to lunch had great food and it came with many things, expect to pay around 20-25. The time we got to swim in one of the natural pools was a bit short, but with the amount of time it takes to drive everywhere it makes sense. I am glad I did this, met great people, saw so much more of the island should I have attempted this on my own, and just had a hilarious time. ★

We had a fantastic 4x4 tour with True Spirit, and our guide, Carl, was especially great. He was friendly and provided extensive explanations. He regularly asked if everything was alright. Everything was incredibly well organized. If I had known, I would have booked him for every excursion.
