Here we had another tour guide who was clearly passionate about his job and who looked after all the participants with wit and charm, ensuring we all had a memorable day. I hadn't had such an excellent guided tour in a long time.

We chose the one day trip to Philip Island tour and it was great! We first arrived at the moonlit sanctuary for seeing and feeding Kangaroos and Wallabys and watching different kinds of animals, then we went for sightseeing the penguins at Philip island which also was great! Little penguins parade at the beach, much recommended. At the place you can have a delicious dinner and buy something at the shop. I also want to recommend buying the premium ticket to see the penguins, worth it. I strongly recommend this tour and Oceania company, they are very serious with their job and very friendly. Our guide Judith, was always attentive to our needs and questions, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and welcomed. Judith truly made the trip unforgettable, was on time in the hotel to pick us up, very kind and gentle with us; she explained everything about the city of Melbourne and Sydney, also about different Fauna of Australia and various topics. she demonstrated a deep knowledge of the place, offering fascinating details and enriching the experience with interesting anecdotes, she also brought bottled water for us (very important to stay hidrated on these long tours) for what we were greatfull, she was very nice all day and helped us in every way she could. Thanks for everything,

Family of 3 from Newcastle NSW spent the day with Katy on the Philip island tour. Exceeded expectations, had a blast. The pickups were on time, the bus clean and air conditioned, Katy is a safe and responsible driver. Hubby and teenager were super excited to be Katy's co-pilots for the day 😅. Katy was very professional, funny and just an amazing host. Thank you Katy and Go west ! Will definitely be booking another tour when we return to Melb in the future. The Jarmans

The scenery was magnificent, the only downside was the very long bus journey and we only saw one koala in a tree – a bit disappointing
Reviews: [Special Price from March 3rd to 6th] Melbourne Puffing Billy Steam Train + Phillip Island Penguin Island Day Trip

Arriving in Melbourne, Australia, I felt a little nervous and uneasy. Being in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by foreigners, I felt quite lost. However, I was surprised to find a tour group with Chinese guides on Ctrip. The guide was incredibly enthusiastic and responsible, treating every passenger with friendliness. Even if we were going to be late, he would call ahead to check on us, showing no signs of impatience. His driving skills were also top-notch, very steady, and his commentary throughout the trip was professional and engaging. Early in the morning, we set off in a comfortable air-conditioned bus. Our first stop was the Puffing Billy Steam Train, its vintage atmosphere captivating us. The century-old locomotive billowed white smoke, the wooden carriages gleamed with the patina of time, and the open-plan design was perfect for travelers! Many tourists excitedly stuck their feet out of the windows, letting the breeze from the Dandenong Ranges caress their faces, watching the lush rainforest, verdant farmland, and winding rivers unfold before them. When the train crossed the iconic wooden bridge, cheers and the train whistle mingled throughout the carriage, making it feel like stepping into a scene from an old movie. In the afternoon, we went to the Koala Sanctuary and saw kangaroos and koalas, Australia's famous and unique animals—they were so adorable! Koalas are very sleepy; after eating leaves, they'll tuck their heads to their chests and sleep. Luckily, we saw one awake—it was truly adorable! The zoo also had many other strange and wonderful animals, which was a real eye-opener. After the zoo, we headed to Phillip Island. The coastal scenery along the way was breathtaking. Upon arriving at Cape Nobbes, we strolled along the boardwalk along the cliffside. The azure water crashed against the rocks, creating white waves, and the sea breeze carried a salty freshness. Seabirds soared in the distance; every snapshot was wallpaper-worthy. The most anticipated part was the penguin parade, which was incredibly exciting! As the sunset gilded the sea, groups of tiny penguins, no bigger than a palm, waddled out of the waves, marching in neat lines towards their nests. Their round bodies and adorable gait instantly melted away all our fatigue. Watching them huddle together, waddling along, this intimate contact with nature truly softens the world. I must commend the thoughtful arrangements of the itinerary: the guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing the history of the Phillip Island train and ecological stories along the way. The entire journey was seamless, requiring no worries about transportation or tickets. Lunch offered a wide variety of choices, was delicious, and excellent value. Although it was a full-day trip, the pace was relaxed, preventing any feeling of rushing.
Reviews: [Special Price for March & 4th] Melbourne Great Ocean Road Trail + Twelve Apostles Day Trip
Guest User2026-01-19
I spent five nights in Melbourne during my trip to Australia, including one day exploring the Great Ocean Road. Friends recommended driving, but there are so many factors to consider when driving abroad. This Great Ocean Road day trip on Ctrip was a much more convenient option. A professional guide drove us around, making the itinerary both compact and comfortable, allowing us to see more and experience more of the wonders within the allotted time. The Twelve Apostles and Apollo Bay were absolutely breathtaking! The bus was comfortable and smooth, the guide was professional and attentive, and the entire journey was seamless. Apollo Bay's crescent shape was incredibly soothing; the azure waters paired with the lush greenery, enjoying fresh seafood while feeling the sea breeze, was pure bliss. The most stunning sight was undoubtedly the Twelve Apostles, seven limestone pillars rising from the sea. Waves crashing against the rocks create white sprays, and the sunlight turning the rocks golden—a testament to nature's artistry. Overall, the trip was stress-free with no worries about transportation or tickets, the schedule was well-planned and not rushed, and the value for money was exceptional. This journey was full of surprises and is definitely a must-do experience in Melbourne!
