It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and to check the tide schedule to plan your duration on the island wisely for a smooth return to the mainland.

Due to the terrain, visitors need to take a motorcycle or hike down a slope to reach the base of the waterfall. The area around the waterfall is slippery, so it's recommended to wear non-slip or water shoes and stay cautious. There are no changing rooms or lockers available, so it's best to travel light.

Travelers can board small boats guided by professional crew to reach the whale shark viewing area, where they may observe these majestic creatures swimming gracefully in their natural habitat, especially during early morning hours. Participants must wear snorkeling gear and adhere to eco-friendly guidelines, such as maintaining a safe distance from the whale sharks and avoiding physical contact, ensuring positive human-animal interactions. As this is a protected marine area, visitors are encouraged to respect local conservation rules by refraining from using chemical-based sunscreen to minimize potential harm to marine life.
