▲ Sumilon Island is located in the southern waters of Cebu and is favored by many visitors for its fine white sandbar and ever-changing tidal views. During low tide, the sandbar emerges like a white pathway floating on the water, extending into the azure sea, perfect for walking and photo opportunities. The island lacks complex facilities, focusing mostly on pristine natural views, making it ideal for a short stay to admire the seamless blend of sea and sky. It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and to check the tide schedule to plan your duration on the island wisely for a smooth return to the mainland.

▲ Tumalog Waterfall is nestled among lush mountain forests, where water gently cascades down the high rock face, creating a curtain-like view. Due to the terrain, visitors need to take a motorcycle or hike down a slope to reach the base of the waterfall. The shallow pools allow you to wade in the cool stream, enjoying the tranquility of the forest and the refreshing mountain air. The area around the waterfall is slippery, so it's recommended to wear non-slip or water shoes and stay cautious. There are no changing rooms or lockers available, so it's best to travel light.

▲ The Simala Shrine (Simbahan ng Simala) is located in the southern highlands of Cebu and serves as a significant symbol of faith for the local community. The Baroque-style architecture features layered steps and striking white walls with red roofs, creating a solemn and reverent atmosphere. Many local devotees come here to pray and make wishes, while visitors can also experience the local religious culture. Proper attire is required to enter the church—avoid sleeveless tops, shorts, or other inappropriate clothing. The site includes areas for offerings, candles, and souvenirs. Please maintain a quiet demeanor, respect the sacred ambiance, and avoid loud noises or disruptive photography.

▲ Oslob is renowned for its frequent whale shark activities, making it one of Cebu's top eco-experience destinations. Travelers can board small boats guided by professional crew to reach the whale shark viewing area, where they may observe these majestic creatures swimming gracefully in their natural habitat, especially during early morning hours. Participants must wear snorkeling gear and adhere to eco-friendly guidelines, such as maintaining a safe distance from the whale sharks and avoiding physical contact, ensuring positive human-animal interactions. As this is a protected marine area, visitors are encouraged to respect local conservation rules by refraining from using chemical-based sunscreen to minimize potential harm to marine life.
