Many places in one excursion👍🏻the excursion began at night, we drove for several hours to the place, then there was time for breakfast, then we went swimming and watching the shark, I thank the workers, enough time to capture a shark in a photo or video, then we went to the island and watched the nemo fish, then an amazing waterfall, after the waterfall we stopped by and changed into clothes and we could eat with the traditional cuisine, at will, the food was delicious, after that we visited the church and then returned, the driver helped to take a taxi, because I did it for the first time, I was satisfied, thanks to the girl Guide, everything was organized quickly and helped in different situations, take photos, save things, hopeless and comfortable, I am satisfied, amazing🥰🥳❤️😍 Take a towel with you, everything you need for swimming, masks for swimming with sharks are given out, food, water, and there is no paper in public toilets, it is also better to have napkins😉

We were picked up from the hotel at 1:30 AM, and all six groups were picked up by 2:20 PM. We arrived at the whale shark area in Oslob at 4:20 PM. There, we lined up for our tickets until 5:00 PM. Once we received our tickets, we waited at a nearby carinderia (restaurant or cafe). Although we were told not to carry anything when we were dropped off, it's a good idea to bring your cell phone, some money (550 pesos for a GoPro + snacks), and a towel. After that, we went to a waterfall. It was great to see doctor fish and see beautiful scenery! After that, we went to Sumilon Island. You can take a snorkeling tour here for an additional fee. I don't remember it being that expensive. It's voluntary. Sumilon Island is hot, with no shade or chairs to sit on... After that, we had a shower, but instead of a shower, we splashed water in a bucket, so I didn't take one. For lunch, we had Carcar Lechon. They offer an all-you-can-eat option! This is a famous lechon restaurant in Cebu. It was quite salty though... The three of us ordered 1/4 of a lechon and four side dishes. We also bought coconut sables as souvenirs. After that, we stopped by a church on the way back, and finally got off at the SM Mall around 3:30pm.

There were so many whale shark tours that it was really hard to decide which one to book!! But I'm so glad I booked with them. I couldn't tell the difference between this and other high altitude tours. The tour guide was very kind, took lots of photos, and was happy to help with any questions you might have! I think you should definitely rent a GoPro for 550 pesos! We were staying in Cebu City, so we were picked up around 2pm and got in the car. The driver's contact information was sent to us in advance, so we were able to communicate with them about the time! I recommend staying in Cebu City when taking a whale shark tour!

The itinerary can also be in addition to needing to get up early and a little tired, other does not affect the focus on visiting whale sharks. Keep up with the island day trip. Others can be ignored. The local tour guide is very serious and responsible. Only I am a Chinese. I will take the initiative to take pictures of me and take a mobile phone translation to communicate with me.

Best day ever!!!!! It was a join in tour which I didn’t mind because I was a solo traveler, i appreciated the company. Pick up was on time for me and the trip to Oslob was about 3hours. Luckily only four of us had booked for that day so everything was super flexible. I swam with the whale sharks, I rented a go pro for 550pesos and the guide on the boat helped me take videos. The falls were beautiful and you can swim in them. I recommend trying to get everything done by 2:30pm so you can drive back without getting stuck in traffic. Carry snacks and extra money for breakfast/lunch.

▲ Estimated Pickup Time: 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM Pickup Area: Any hotel within Cebu Return Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Return Location: Entrance of SM Cebu Disclaimer: Pickup times are for reference only and may be earlier or later. Important Note: Airport pickup is not available for group tours. Canyoneering and Kawasan Falls are closed on the third Wednesday of each month for cleaning and for the guides to rest. Tumalo Falls is temporarily closed until further notice due to loose geology. Please follow your guide's instructions. Sumilon Sandbar is closed on the third Wednesday of each month for cleaning.

▲ Sumilon Island is located in the southern waters of Cebu and is favored by many visitors for its fine white sandbar and ever-changing tidal views. During low tide, the sandbar emerges like a white pathway floating on the water, extending into the azure sea, perfect for walking and photo opportunities. The island lacks complex facilities, focusing mostly on pristine natural views, making it ideal for a short stay to admire the seamless blend of sea and sky. It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sun-protective clothing, and to check the tide schedule to plan your duration on the island wisely for a smooth return to the mainland.

▲ Tumalog Waterfall is nestled among lush mountain forests, where water gently cascades down the high rock face, creating a curtain-like view. Due to the terrain, visitors need to take a motorcycle or hike down a slope to reach the base of the waterfall. The shallow pools allow you to wade in the cool stream, enjoying the tranquility of the forest and the refreshing mountain air. The area around the waterfall is slippery, so it's recommended to wear non-slip or water shoes and stay cautious. There are no changing rooms or lockers available, so it's best to travel light.

▲ The Simala Shrine (Simbahan ng Simala) is located in the southern highlands of Cebu and serves as a significant symbol of faith for the local community. The Baroque-style architecture features layered steps and striking white walls with red roofs, creating a solemn and reverent atmosphere. Many local devotees come here to pray and make wishes, while visitors can also experience the local religious culture. Proper attire is required to enter the church—avoid sleeveless tops, shorts, or other inappropriate clothing. The site includes areas for offerings, candles, and souvenirs. Please maintain a quiet demeanor, respect the sacred ambiance, and avoid loud noises or disruptive photography.

▲ Oslob is renowned for its frequent whale shark activities, making it one of Cebu's top eco-experience destinations. Travelers can board small boats guided by professional crew to reach the whale shark viewing area, where they may observe these majestic creatures swimming gracefully in their natural habitat, especially during early morning hours. Participants must wear snorkeling gear and adhere to eco-friendly guidelines, such as maintaining a safe distance from the whale sharks and avoiding physical contact, ensuring positive human-animal interactions. As this is a protected marine area, visitors are encouraged to respect local conservation rules by refraining from using chemical-based sunscreen to minimize potential harm to marine life.
