Amazing respite! Pick up on time and at location arranged. Adonis was very helpful with sending our tickets with no fuss and got us to the airport on time Had a great time, but very busy Sunday morning at the Therme Spa..

Reviews: From Sofia: Plovdiv and Rila Monastery tour in one day

The trip itself wasn't bad, but it took too long. Of the 11.5-hour tour, we spent 8.5-9 hours in the car. After Plovdiv, we returned to Sofia and left Sofia for Rila with another driver, when perhaps we could have changed cars halfway to Rila, without having to drive another two hours back to Sofia and leave. The drivers were friendly, the cars clean. Rila is worth seeing (we were there for 35 minutes), but Plovdiv, in my opinion, wasn't. In Plovdiv, there was a free guide (which you have to pay separately) for a guided tour of the city, which, on the one hand, isn't a bad way to get to know the city. He was good but slow, and we didn't see several things because he talked too much about things not related to the visit. All in all, it's worth doing if you're short on time and want to see more.

The excursion to Rila Monastery was wonderful, I highly recommend it. Our guide, Iva, is fantastic; she explains everything very well and speaks perfect Spanish. She's incredibly friendly, answers any questions, and recommended some great places we enjoyed. In short, a perfect excursion and a fantastic guide, Iva.
