Blue Ocean Drive: A Ribbon on the Pacific
The Blue Ocean Drive (Grand Pacific Drive) stretches 140 km from the Royal National Park south of Sydney to the town of Shoalhaven.
Take a business coach along one of the sections, with the magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean accompanying you throughout the journey.
You can take photos of the distinctive Griffin Bridge along the way.
The winding bridge clings to the cliff and stretches across the sea, resembling a flowing ribbon.
Kaima Water Spray Cave: Encounter a Surprise
Kiama is just a 25-minute drive from Wollongong, the backyard of Sydney, offering a relaxed atmosphere and the photogenic white Kiama Lighthouse.
Locals often picnic on the lawn beneath the tower, with the water-spouting hole located nearby.
Whenever large waves surge into the seaside natural cave, they compress into water columns several stories high.
On sunny days, you can even take photos with rainbows in natural sunlight without any editing.
Itinerary Reference:
1) Depart from Sydney city hotels around 9:00 AM
2) Pass by the Grand Pacific Drive: A Ribbon on the Pacific Ocean (approx. 1 hr)
3) Arrive at the first stop, Sea Cliff Bridge, for a breathtaking panoramic view (40 min stay)
4) Arrive at Kiama Blowhole at 11:00 AM, where the seawater spray forms a breathtaking rainbow under sunlight (approx. 1 hr)
5) 12:00 Arrange your own meals (approx. 50 min)
6) Check in at the Kiama Coast Walk benches, Cathedral Rocks, heart-shaped Minnamurra Beach, and seaside pastures for a leisurely hike, covering all the viral spots (approx. 1.5 hr)
7) Return to Sydney city center at around 3:30pm
8) Arrive in the city around 6 PM, meeting point, tour disbanded
