The itinerary was rich and the guide was professional and attentive. Although the boat trip could not be done on the same day, the boat trip on Lake Geneva on the second day felt like a private boat trip, which was a very good experience.

David was an informative and helpful guide. He had timing down so we had time for a stop on the way to Zermatt and a good amount of time to be on top of the Glacier and still have lunch and leisure walk through Zermatt. He also pointed out ideal viewing places for Zermatt and how best to spend time on top, considering his knowledge how the cloud cover would roll in later in the day. At his suggestion, we didn't do the movie at the top to maximize time with other activities. The views throughout were spectacular, even inside the Glacier Palace.

No praise is too great. The guide was first class and his commentary was excellent, a good balance of information with some quiet time. All promised locations included with information about Swiss life and culture. My principal interest was Chillon Castle which lived up to all my highly romantic and elevated expectations. Seeing Charlie Chaplin’s estate was a bonus and I loved Montreaux also. Thank you.

The venues visited were excellent. The time at Chaplin’s World was perfect, could have used a bit more time at Chillon so would recommend additional time. The stopover in the wine country was a bonus. Montreux was a nice stopover as well. Lausanne was a good starting point for our day but would have enjoyed getting an earlier start which may have given us more time at each venue. I'm not sure if we would have done the trip starting from Geneva. That was a long stretch. We opted for the ferry from Vivay to the castle. Was a little dissapointed we didn't get to ride the old riverboat and unfortunately the boat was crowded with a corresponding Viking tour. Overall definitely recommend the adventure. Thank you for the experience!
