Teriberka is a small village on the northern coast of the Kola Peninsula in Murmansk Oblast, Russia. It's compact enough to explore roughly within a day, which is why most visitors opt for a 1-day tour. However, if you're hoping to chase the northern lights and have sufficient time, we recommend staying a couple more days since aurora sightings depend on luck and weather conditions—there's no guarantee you'll see them on your first day.
The best season for chasing the Northern Lights is from September to April each year, particularly from November to February when the long nights provide a golden window for aurora viewing.
