Pick up was on time. This tour there was only the 2 of us and they used a tuktuk. Guide was knowledgeable and bring us to all the places stated in the itinerary. The driver gave very good service by providing us with wet towels and cold bottle water thruout the tour. Booking on trip dot com was very easy and convenient. We wanted a water trip during the day and most were at night. Booked this one the evening before and called them early morning (7am) to confirm pick up. English was not a problem. We were the only booking and time was arranged for our convience. Fun tuktuk ride and a friendly welcome on the boat - smaller,old stock with character. Great information and engagement with our guide who provided fresh fruit and offered refreshments too.
Such contrast with river lifestyles and significant development. What a hard working people.★

Although it was a short tour, Aashik was able to show us all the highlights of Colombo. We were picked up at our cruise port in a comfortable air conditioned car. We were able to spend some time at the Gem Factory…. Much to my husband’s displeasure as we did buy some beautiful jewelry.
While in Sri Lanka, one must try Lion beer…my husband’s new favorite.
