The Kansai Limited Express "HARUKA" is a convenient and comfortable limited express train that provides extremely convenient transportation services.
■ Direct access to Kansai Airport and major Kansai cities such as Tennoji, Shin-Osaka, and Kyoto.
■ From Kansai Airport Station, it takes about 35 minutes to reach Tennoji, about 50 minutes to reach Shin-Osaka, and about 80 minutes to reach Kyoto.
■ No need to exchange tickets at the station, you can purchase and board the train simply by using your mobile phone.

◆ Precautions
- You may only board and alight at the station specified when you purchased your ticket. If you need to board or alight at any station along the way, you will need to purchase a new ticket.
- For example, if you buy a one-way ticket from Kyoto Station to Kansai Airport Station, you can only get on and off at Kyoto Station and Kansai Airport Station.

◆ Eligibility
- 1. Holding a passport issued by a foreign government. ※This passport is not valid for holders of permanent resident permits for aliens or Japanese citizens.
- 2. Enter Japan on a "short-stay" visa.
- 3. A single passenger is not allowed to purchase or redeem multiple identical tickets within the same period.
◆ Regarding reservations
- Once activated, the train must be used on the same day and can only be booked for the train on that day. If you do not intend to use the train on the same day, please do not activate the service; you can still book trains below.
◆ Use period
- Certificate validity period:June 30, 2025 – March 31, 2026
- Validity period:Once activated, this ticket is valid only for the day of activation (calendar day).
◆ How to use

- If you are unable to use your ticket due to service disruption and your WEST QR ticket is unused, you will receive a full refund.
- If your ticket has already been activated, please contact customer service for further processing.
■ Step 1: Register a WEST QR account via the link on the coupon slip.
1. Access the "WEST QR Dedicated Website" (official registration page) via the link on the "voucher" in your order.
2. Enter a valid email address, a custom password, and your country/region.
3. To verify your registration, please enter the verification code in the email you received (the verification code is valid for 5 minutes).
4. Complete account creation.
[Precautions]
• If you have not received the email, please check your spam/junk mail folder or verify the domain configuration of your login email.
• If a long time has passed since your last registration, please check your domain configuration and register your account again.
• You cannot complete account registration without entering the verification code.

■ Step 2: After registering your account, bind your e-ticket.
1. Log in using the account you registered in "Step 1".
2. After logging in, a pop-up window will appear asking if you want to bind your ticket. Please select your desired operation. [Note: Once you click the "Register" button, the account used to register tickets will not be able to cancel or change its registration.]
※You can also bind the serial number by entering it on the "WEST QR Dedicated Website".
3. After the ticket registration is completed, you can check the added tickets on the "Issuance Tickets" page.

■ Step 3: Reserve train number and seat
1. After registering your ticket, you can click "Seat Reservation" to select your train number and seat.
- During the following period, new reservations and changes to assigned seating (reserved seats) can be made.
- Before the ticket is used: from the time of boarding the train30 days ago ~ 3 minutes before departureThis can be done. (When you start using your ticket, any reserved seating (assigned seats) outside the ticket's validity period will be automatically cancelled.)
- Only trains with tickets within their validity period are eligible.
[Precautions]
• Reservations for seats on the "HARUKA" e-ticket cannot be made at station ticket machines or windows; seats can only be selected from the "WEST QR Ticket Reservation Seats".
• Reservations can be made from 30 days in advance to 3 minutes before the train's departure time on the same day. Trains less than 3 minutes before departure will be considered as new reservations or changes made to existing reservations and cannot be selected.
• If you do not "start using" 3 minutes before the scheduled train departure time, your reserved seat reservation will be automatically cancelled.
• If the reserved seats on the train you wish to take are full, or if you have not reserved a seat in advance, you can choose to have an unreserved seat (non-reserved seat) or reserve a "WEST QR reserved seat" on another train.
• If you miss your designated train, your reserved seat will be void, and you will not be able to change or get a refund.
• Reserved seats can only be redeemed once.

■ Step 4: Activate your ticket (to be done on the day of travel)
1. Visit the "WEST QR website" and log in with your registered account.
2. Select the ticket you need from the ticket list.
3. On the ticket details page, click the "Start Using" button to submit a ticket activation request.
4. A QR code will be displayed on the ticket details page. Simply scan the QR code against the red QR code scanner on the automatic gate to pass through.
[Precautions]
• If the gate does not have a QR code scanner, please use the scanning area marked "WEST QR" near the gate to complete the verification and pass through the gate.
• Screenshots or printouts of QR codes are not allowed.
• When passing through the turnstile, you need to use a smartphone with internet connectivity to obtain QR code information.

Instructions for managing multiple passengers on the same trip under the same account
1. Perform the following steps for each ticket: Step 2 (ticket registration), Step 3 (seat reservation), and Step 4 (start using).
2. On the day of travel, after activating each ticket, please switch to using the ticket for entry as follows:
Passengers with mobile phones should select their fellow passengers' tickets from the ticket list, click "Scan Code," then "Select Station," choose the station they wish to pass through the ticket gate, and proceed with "Entry" and "Exit." After the QR code is displayed, scan it on the ticket machine's QR code reader. Fellow passengers should pass through the ticket gate first. Finally, passengers with smartphones (those who have completed account registration) should select their own tickets and pass through the ticket gate.
[Precautions]
• At stations without staff and where the ticket gates have doors, after processing all your tickets, please use the walkie-talkie near the ticket gate to call a staff member. Place the detailed QR code image of your ticket on the "Camera stand" on your smartphone and inform the staff member that the QR code processing is complete. (The staff member on the walkie-talkie will then open and close the ticket gate door for you.)
If you forget which tickets you have used, please check the "Usage History" on the details screen of each ticket!
[Important Information]
Once the "Use Ticket" operation is performed, the usage date cannot be cancelled or changed. The operation must be performed on the day the ticket is to be used.
* You cannot pass through the ticket gate before you start using it.
※ The validity period begins upon initial use, so please be sure to start using the product on the designated start date.
• If there are multiple passengers booking, please activate each ticket separately by clicking "Start Using".
• If you do not use your ticket at least 3 minutes before your scheduled train departure time, your reservation will be automatically cancelled. You will then have to rebook your seat.
