4. It is recommended to wear warm clothing, hats, scarves, gloves, and sturdy insulated shoes.
5. Animals are not allowed on the trip.
Itinerary reference (subject to actual itinerary):
Your 1-day tour departs from Bergen or Voss by sightseeing bus to Vik. You'll cross the Vikafjell mountain pass, enjoying magnificent scenery. In these highlands, it might even snow in summer! Descending from Vikafjell, the bus will stop at the Storesvingen viewpoint, offering excellent photo opportunities with breathtaking views of Vik and Sognefjord. Upon arrival in Vik, your guide will lead a visit to Hopperstad Stave Church, one of Norway's best-preserved stave churches. From the church, you can take a boat along Sognefjord to Fjærlandsfjord and onward to Fjærland. The boat features indoor seating and a large observation deck for enjoying the beautiful scenery. The stunning Fjærlandsfjord stretches about 25 km, flanked by towering mountains. In Fjærland, you'll join a guided tour to visit Bøyabreen Glacier and the Norwegian Glacier Museum. This interactive museum shares knowledge about glaciers and climate through innovative exhibits. From the museum, continue by bus to Bøyabreen Glacier - an arm of Jostedalsbreen Glacier. Here, you'll have time to take photos and observe how the glacier shapes the landscape up close. For safety reasons, walking on the glacier isn't permitted, but you can experience it nearby. Returning to Fjærland harbor, the same boat will take you back to Vik. From Vik, continue by bus to the spectacular Tvindefossen waterfall. The 110-meter-high Tvindefossen has many myths associated with it, and your guide will share some stories. Most visitors find the waterfall impressive as you can walk close to its base. From the waterfall, return by bus to Voss or Bergen, where you can enjoy dinner (at your own expense) after a diverse and exciting day.
Age restrictions: Children: 4–15 years old, infants: 0–3 years old (free). Note: If you are traveling with infants (0–3 years old), please contact our online customer support to provide the number of infants, names, and dates of birth to avoid being unable to participate in the itinerary.
Inclusions: Round-trip minibus transportation to Bergen, experienced guide, guided tour of Hopperstad Stave Church, admission ticket to Norwegian Glacier Museum, sightseeing cruise ticket for the fjord.
Exclusions: meals, food/beverage purchases on board the ship/ferry.
