On my first trip to Hanoi, the host arrived a little early, just before 9 a.m. My family was tired and had to change our itinerary mid-tour, but the host was very flexible and helpful. Even though my Korean wasn't up to par, the host's fluent(?) explanations were very helpful. My wife loves taking photos, so the host took many beautiful pictures without complaint, even when I asked for help. After the tour, he even guided me to the spa and massage, which I'm very grateful for.★

I booked a tour through Vietnam. I was the only Chinese person on the bus. The tour guide spoke in English, and I got the gist of it from a few words. The itinerary was a standard tour offered by the company, and Ha Long Bay was quite beautiful. The facilities on the boat were good, and the lunch buffet had a wide variety of choices. The service was also good. It was a shopping stop, but there was no pressure to shop.★

I enjoyed the tour, especially the guide Jenna. She explained everything in great detail. We had snacks along the way, and we tried Vietnamese cuisine. We also had a full dinner at a cafe. I think this tour is sufficient for a short stay in Hanoi. I recommend it. Dress warmly in winter; it gets chilly in the evenings.
