I have done many Secret Food Tours around the world and they are consistently wonderful! Our guide, Yumi, was incredibly knowledgeable and sweet. She was clearly passionate about sharing her love of her city and its food. Secret Food Tours always attract cool people and our group’s vibe was great.

The food tour with Aki was more than a tour, it was an experience. Out of all the tours I did on my trip to Japan, his was the best! Very personalized and unique, as well as informational and fun. The food is 10/10. I tried foods I never would have tried on my own, and some varieties of foods I was more familiar with but different, like a chicken based ramen that was so rich and delicious. I surprised myself by the variety of sashimi that I actually liked, as I'm normally a tuna and salmon girl. Come hungry because there is a lot to eat. I was stuffed by the end of the night. I joined the tour as a solo traveler, my tour was a small group of 4, but Aki brought us all together and showed us such a good time that the 4 of us ended up hanging out after the tour to explore a bit more. Aki answered all our random questions, shared some great cultural tidbits with us, and you can really tell how passionate he is about his tour and his country. I would recommend this tour to all my friends.

I was traveling alone, but didn't want to rush to the meeting point early in the morning. I saw that the 9-person group tour with hotel pick-up required a minimum of two people to book, so I contacted customer service and paid the difference to book smoothly. The 9-person group tour was arranged with a minivan, driven by a young man named Timo. He picked me up from the hotel on time, and the itinerary was well-planned and smooth throughout the trip. He was very attentive and nice. The weather was fantastic that day; the snow-capped peak of Mount Fuji was breathtaking, and the flowers in Oishi Park and Lake Kawaguchi were in full bloom. It was truly a worthwhile trip!

Highly recommended. Unbeatable value for money. The tour guide contacted us the day before, providing clear and helpful meeting information pictures. They even helped take photos, and their photography skills were superb. No shopping stops throughout the trip, very flexible, perfect for those who want to see all the landmarks in one go. Because if you really want to see Mt. Fuji, you need to book the bus and hotel in advance, but it can be frustrating if the weather is bad. This tour allows you to book a day in advance based on the weather forecast, ensuring a smooth and worry-free experience. Great scenery, excellent management, and a great itinerary – five stars!

A pleasing experience, sit back, relax and enjoy your trip to lovely photo locations around Mt Fuji! We opted for pickup from our hotel and our lovely driver was perfectly on time. There was a good range of locations and more than sufficient time at each spot, definitely got some great photos on the day and our weather was perfect(mid April)
