🌳 3 Must-Do Things at Amanohashidate
1️⃣ Climb to the top of "Umbrella Pine Park" for a bird's-eye view of the sandbar
→ Take the cable car to the top (round trip ¥720), and take a "reverse Fuji" composition from the viewpoint overlooking the sea.
→ Hidden spot: The west side of the observation deck at the top of the mountain offers a stunning view of the sandbar and the Aso Sea side-by-side!
2️⃣ Walk barefoot on the "Natural White Sand Beach"
→ Take off your shoes and walk on 2km of pure white sand. The seawater washing over your ankles at high tide is incredibly soothing.
→ Rent a bicycle (¥500/hour) and chase seagulls along the sandbar, feeling the shape of the wind.
3️⃣ Visit "Chieunji Temple" for amulets
→ Vermilion torii gates paired with century-old pine trees; seek amulets for academic success/marriage (from ¥800).

The tour guide was quite helpful, speaking three languages (Japanese, Chinese, and English), catering to the language needs of everyone in our group. The view from Amanohashidate was stunning, and the chairlift was a pleasant surprise, especially the panoramic view from the descent. It was truly unique.★

We had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Hua Hua. He is incredibly nice, helpful, and friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable from start to finish. The instructions throughout the trip were very clear and easy to follow, which made everything run smoothly. As a bonus, he can sing beautifully too—it really added a special and fun touch to the trip. Highly recommend!
