Tour guide Sun Nan was very professional and managed the time very well. He answered all the questions and explained each attraction clearly, giving us enough time to move around freely. The Aso dairy products recommended by Guide Sun were really delicious! I would recommend this day trip to friends who are going to Asođâ

The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual.
The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming.
Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching.
Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame.
The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.â

On the way there, we were told the crater was closed, but it actually opened during the drive. What a blessing! I was able to see it up close, and it was truly spectacular! For the return trip, we took the ASO Boy train. The scenery from the windows was like a cartoon. It was the most relaxing train ride! Our tour guide, Zheng Weijun, deserves special mention. He was dedicated, humorous, and a delight for the children! I was very satisfied with the entire day trip!â

What a pleasant and smooth day! đ The weather was amazing! Autumn in Takachiho Gorge is beautiful.
Luckily, I didn't become an Aso refugee! đ I saw Mount Aso up close, it was quite breathtaking! Our guide, Daisy Wu Xia, was super nice â very professional service, a well-planned itinerary, and very helpful. She even shared local food and shopping tips with us⌠Looking forward to seeing you again!â

The itinerary 3 places of visit were interesting. The booking was smooth and the notification for meet up arrangement was good. However, the closure of Mt. Aso due to the helicopter crash accident 2 days before could be better handled by the tour operator by actively offering alternative instead. But it did not. It also did not extend the duration of the other 2 places too. The tour guide just perfunctory bring us to the closed Mt. Aso, stating if it open, we shall go in and if not, we shall not. Only to offer an short duration extension od Kusasenri (after we requested) + a 15 min visit to another shrine nearby. Felt the whole arrangement iwas nsincere and the guide just wanted to go through motion and hope to end her work early. Also, the guide was kind of boring and can see that she is very green in this field of work.îĽ
