Wild fishing is a common summer pastime for locals in Northern Europe. Whether by secluded lakes or along rushing rivers, you'll spot people casting their lines. The Arctic rivers are home to over 20 fish species, commonly including perch, mackerel, pike, trout, rainbow trout, and whitefish. The guide will take you to forest lakes or rivers, prepare your fishing gear, and you can begin enjoying the leisurely pace of Lapland.
The guide will prepare a bonfire on the shore for you. Once you catch a fish, it can be cooked on the spot! We've also prepared smoked salmon or sausages for you. Whether you catch fish or not, we can gather around the bonfire with a warm cup of blueberry tea and enjoy the authentic Lapland lifestyle.
