On the day of the tour, numerous school groups were visiting simultaneously. The visit to the Jewish Quarter consisted solely of dense crowding. While this is obviously not the organizer's fault, it was very disruptive. There was an inexplicably long break of approximately 20 minutes between the first tour of the Jewish Quarter and the second tour of the mosque. The mosque guide provided a fantastic overview of the origins of this unique monument.
