During a two-week trip to Portugal, I decided to try an eSIM and ordered it directly through Trip.com. The process was simpler than I expected: after payment, I immediately received a QR code via email, and the Trip.com app clearly explained how to add the profile to my iPhone. The speed was quite comfortable, sufficient for both maps and calls in messaging apps. The only thing is, it's best to activate it in advance.★

Ian was a great informative guide. We had fun, ample time at all of the stops, and we went to what seemed like the end of the earth. The small Mercedes bus was clean and comfortable. Ian reminded us after each stop to buckle up. It was a very safe trip over some rough roads. I reserved the tour, and then had a question about airport drop-off. I was answered promptly and with an accommodation for our request. Excellent total experience for us!
