We start at the Royal Palace of Olite, an impressive medieval fortress that once served as the residence of the kings of Navarre. We stroll through its walls and battlements, discovering why it is the greatest example of civil Gothic architecture in Navarra and one of the most remarkable in Europe. Afterwards, we explore the charming streets of Olite, filled with noble houses, medieval churches, and remnants of Roman walls, perfect for stepping back in time.
Next, we head to Ujué, a picturesque medieval village perched atop a plateau. Before wandering its narrow cobbled streets and reaching the stunning Sanctuary-Fortress of Santa María, a national monument, we take a break to savor delicious ""migas de pastor"" accompanied by a drink. Refreshed, we continue our tour of this historic village, enjoying breathtaking views of the Pyrenees and the surrounding valleys. A journey full of history, flavors, and unforgettable landscapes.
