My friend and I joined this Jiufen day trip, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations! Most itineraries combine Shifen and Jiufen, but we just wanted to leisurely explore Jiufen, so we were happy to find this package that only included Jiufen. The original itinerary indicated a group of about 30 people, but surprisingly, there were only two groups of three on the day. The travel agency not only didn't cancel the trip but also thoughtfully changed it to a nine-seater vehicle, making the entire journey more comfortable and almost like a private charter. The tour guide was very professional, extremely familiar with Jiufen, and could communicate in Chinese, Japanese, and English. The itinerary was very flexible, with plenty of free time; she was also very willing to accompany us and provide explanations if needed. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, and it is a highly recommended travel experience! My friend and I joined this Jiufen day tour, and the experience exceeded our expectations! Most tour packages combine Shifen and Jiufen, but we wanted to explore Jiufen at a relaxed pace, so we were very happy to find a tour dedicated solely to Jiufen. The tour description mentioned a group of around 30 people, but in the end there were only two parties with a total of three guests. Instead of canceling, the agency thoughtfully arranged a smaller nine-seater vehicle, making the trip much more comfortable and almost like a private tour. Our Jiufen and Shifen Old Street & Shifen Waterfall day tour was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. Visiting Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Old Street, and Shifen Waterfall all in one day was very well planned and not rushed. The scenery was beautiful—from the charming streets and local food in Jiufen, to the unique lantern experience in Shifen, and the impressive views at the waterfall. Everything flowed smoothly, making it a very enjoyable day. Our guide Lyndon was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He explained the history and stories behind each place, made sure everyone was comfortable, and kept the tour relaxed and fun. His guidance truly made the experience more meaningful and stress-free. He took photos too. Highly recommended if you want to see these iconic spots in one day with a great guide and a well-organized itinerary.

Alex is a very friendly and helpful guide! I am a solo traveller and I had fun during the trip. The instructions given were clear and easy to follow. Alex and Mr Cao the bus driver, will do their best to make sure we get the attractions as close as possible without having to walk much. The additional information shared by Alex were interesting.

It was a small group of 9 people. We visited all the places on our plan and had so much fun! The driver was very attentive, opening and closing the doors for us every time we got in and out. It was definitely worth it!
