Day 1: Chengdu - Shuangqiao Valley, Siguniang Mountain - Bipenggou
6:30 AM pick-up from hotels within Chengdu's Third Ring Road, depart for Maobiliang Viewing Platform, approximately 200 km (about 3.5 hours' drive). [Maobiliang, elevation around 3,500 meters, visit duration about 30 minutes] From Maobiliang, you can gaze into the distance with Haizigou in front and the Siguniang Mountain range behind, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the Four Sisters Mountain. Drive to Siguniangshan Town for lunch, then proceed to Shuangqiao Valley Scenic Area, about 10 km (20 minutes' drive). [Shuangqiao Valley, Siguniang Mountain, average elevation 3,500 meters, visit duration about 3 hours, admission ticket reference: 80 CNY/person + sightseeing bus 70 CNY/person] The valley features snow-capped peaks, pastures, grasslands, and forests, with steep and winding terrain and lush vegetation, making it the most picturesque valley of Siguniang Mountain. Strolling through the valley allows you to experience authentic pastoral scenery. During spring and autumn, the valley is awash with vibrant colors, creating a spectacular sight. A sightseeing bus runs directly to the valley's end, enabling effortless enjoyment of its stunning landscapes. Around 3:00 PM, pass by the popular Li-Xiao Road, then head to Bipenggou hotel for check-in, concluding the day's itinerary.
Note: Shuangqiao Valley spans 34 km in total. Visitors typically take sightseeing buses for a tour lasting about 4 hrs. Within the attraction, each scenic spot has designated bus stops for boarding and alighting. Please board the buses at these stops and take care of your valuables and personal belongings.
Day 2: Bipenggou - Heishui
After breakfast, head to Bipenggou, approximately 5 km away with a 10-minute drive. [Bipenggou, with an average altitude of about 3,000 meters, offers around 4 hours of exploration time. Admission ticket is 80 CNY per person, and the sightseeing bus costs 60 CNY per person.] It is a renowned destination in China for viewing autumn foliage, serving as a large-scale ecotourism scenic area that combines primitive ecological views, mountain trekking, polar exploration, skiing, ice skating, and leisure vacations. The attraction features a variety of maple leaves and azaleas, pristine forests, cascading waterfalls, and unique glaciers. Bipenggou is famous for its stunning natural scenery, perfect ecological views, and excellent environment. Around 14:30, proceed to Heishui Hotel for check-in, covering approximately 180 km with a 3-hour and 30-minute drive; check-in at Heishui Hotel.
Day 3: Heishui - Dagu Glacier - Chengdu
After breakfast, head to Dagu Glacier. [Dagu Glacier, elevation 2,300–4,860 meters, recommended visit time: about 5 hours. Admission ticket: 120 CNY/person, sightseeing bus: 70 CNY/person, cable car: 180 CNY/person.] This rare modern mountain glacier is another premium attraction developed in Aba Prefecture after Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong, shining like a brilliant pearl in the Da Jiuzhai International Tourism Zone of Sichuan, China. The snow-capped peak of Dagu Glacier remains covered in snow year-round, presenting a majestic sight with its staggered peaks glistening under sunlight. The northern and southern slopes feature modern mountain glaciers 60–200 meters thick, with the most spectacular sections being the three main glaciers—No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3—covering an area of about 8.25 square kilometers and formed over hundreds of millions of years, serving as the soul of the entire attraction. The glacier area boasts excellent environmental preservation and a complete combination of natural resources, including not only modern mountain glaciers but also waterfalls, lakes, primeval forests, vast rhododendron groves, and scattered meadows. Wildlife sightings are highly frequent here (especially golden snub-nosed monkeys), often bringing unexpected delights to visitors. Around 1:30 PM, begin the return trip to Chengdu, covering approximately 300 km (about 6 hours by road), concluding the journey upon arrival in Chengdu.
