Classic tour. The size of the tour is relatively big (around 60 travellers on a big bus). The time management of the tour is precise.

I think this price is quite cheap considering it includes admission to the Blue Lagoon. Also, the tour lasts from morning until evening. Lunch is not included, so you'll need to eat on your own. I ate at a restaurant near Geysir.

The best highlight of the tour was our guide, Martin. He was the first impression of what to expect for the day as our guide and gave us a positive exciting idea of what to expect for the day and that he would take great care of us, and he did. The ride was smooth and felt very safe. He was il very knowledgeable and provided great information at the right time, allowing some downtime when we were all tired. He gave us the opportunity to see a few extra places going above and beyond. The stops and places we saw were amazing and the food, both ice cream time and the tomatoes farm lunch stop were absolutely perfect and delicious. We had a tour with a different guide the day after and missed Martin as the best guide anyone could ask for. Will make sure to book him next time we visit. Thank you Martin for the amazing Iceland experience. Best, Alessia (the Italian)

As other customers said, the lava cave tour as it is, it's not really compatible with the ice tunnel. After the lava cave you need to wait for 2 hours in the middle of nowhere for the people from the ice tunnel to finnish. This was not written anywhere in the description of the activity, which I found very shady from the organisers. Thankfully, my tour guide, Al, was the star of the day. He suggested a short hike which was quite nice, and I enjoyed a lot hanging out with him. He alone deserves 5-stars. Other than that, all the activities separately are great.

I did this route last year, and this time when I revisited, I specially chose to join a small group tour to the tomato farm. It was definitely worth the trip! There was an Icelandic horse show, a farm greenhouse display, and while it was freezing outside, it was warm and cozy inside. Everything was so clean and tidy. The staff were well-dressed, generous, and polite. I enjoyed delicious tomato soup with farm-baked bread. I was happy and moved. Despite the harsh environment, they still strive to create a beautiful home. That's the Icelander!


