On the positive die: Sights were great—interesting plants and beautiful landscapes. The tour guide seemed very knowledgeable. On the negative side: the boat dropped us off at Victoria Island for 5+ hours, but the guided tour lasted max 2.5 hours. There was not enough of interest to keep us busy for another 2.5 hours. In addition the day was cold and there was absolutely no place to shelter. (The boat had left to do another group.). Ended up feeling pretty miserable. I understand the need to keep the boat and crew busy making money, but this arrangement is totally unacceptable. Unfortunately I would not recommend this tour the way it was designed. It’s not fair to the travelers to abandon them for so long, in addition to not offering a place to shelter, get a beverage, etc.

I really enjoyed the excursion to Lago Puelo, especially. A wonderful place! I was very impressed with Cecilia, the guide; she explained a lot about the local flora and fauna. I would have preferred to explore more of the area surrounding El Bolsón.

The involvement of the guide and driver was very, very good. Perhaps the return journey could be improved; it should be done with a break and not all in one go. Overall, great.

The locations and the technical expertise of the guides Raúl and Natalia in their explanations were excellent. The decking on the dock at Isla Victoria in both ports needs improvement; it has loose boards. Using screws is suggested.


