A hike up Haleakala is a must when visiting Maui. No wonder this volcano is sacred to Hawaiians. The view above the clouds at over 3,000 meters is unparalleled. On our hike, we were able to witness not only the sunset but also the rising of the stars, which was truly magnificent due to the lack of light pollution in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Martin
