The tour was educational. Francisco, our guide was incredibly informative not only about the locations but about navigating the pitfalls of being a tourist in a town that is full of hawkers selling their wares. The Colonial zone is a beautiful place. I would love to take an entire day just to explore. Our driver, Robert, was also helpful and a pleasure to converse with. He had a very nurturing aura. The lunch included was delicious local fare. My extremely picky daughter finished the entire plate of beans and rice! Definitely recommend this tour.★

Must do trip! Edwin our guide was amazing! Explained everything on the tour about the local neighbourhoods, countryside and city we visited, took us for a traditional Dominican lunch which was excellent. The farmer on the plantation was lovely, we tasted coffee, traditional hot chocolate, fruits, cocoa & herbs, was so informative, welcomed us in to his house for a tour. souvenir shop was also great we were under no pressure to buy anything. Very relaxed atmosphere, cigar factory also excellent!★

Arguably the best thing I did on this trip. It was a daunting hike but the views were so worth it. I would do it again. Might I add the breakfast and lunch was very delicious .★

We booked this experience as it looked better value than some of the others, with Speedboat and a covered catamaran.
We were given an English speaking guide named Max. He was very good and helped us out with everything.
The crew were really friendly, pouring out drinks and creating a great party atmosphere.
