Itinerary
Discover the wild side of Alaska on this 3 hour Off Road Fat Truck/SHERP adventure, the perfect way to experience Denali’s rugged beauty. Following a safety briefing; Your tour begins as you ride up a valley area with viewpoints and then ascend an old mining trail, where stunning panoramic views await at the "upper lookout." Learn about the area’s rich history and fascinating geological formations from your expert guide as you explore this remote region.

Next, travel to Dry Creek River Bed and the mesmerizing Frozen Palisades, a lateral glacial moraine, where towering frozen rock cliffs seem to defy gravity. As you journey in the climate-controlled Fat Truck/SHERP, you’ll enjoy breathtaking scenery while staying warm, safe, and comfortable. This off-road vehicle is designed for Alaska’s toughest terrains.

In the summer, experience the thrill of the amphibious capabilities as it floats on the waters of Otto Lake. During winter, feel the excitement as the truck glides across the frozen lake ice, showcasing its versatility. This tour offers adventure for all ages, with each season offering its own unique twist on the experience.

Wildlife viewing is common, but they are wild and sometimes we see them and sometimes we don't. Statistically; we see primarily moose (on about 50% of our tours), and less frequently seen are caribou, bears, fox, coyote, hares, and wolves.

Most of our guides are also licensed commercial drone pilots (FAA part 107), and we utilize drones (weather dependent) to help get you some stunning drone footage to share with family and friends and wildlife photography.

These tours are small and personal, with a maximum of 6 guests per vehicle, each of our guides were raised in Alaska, or have lived in Alaska most their lives, and they will answer your questions and share with you their personal experiences and stories living in Alaska, the Last Frontier.

Thank you for supporting our Small Family Business.
