Fascinating. I've also been to Mount Etna. Big difference. Both are worth it. The local guide told me almost the same thing as the tour guide. It took too long for me. I wanted to experience the atmosphere of Vesuvius. So I didn't hear everything from the local guide.★

Everything was perfect. The tour with transportation is perfect for families. As described, we received a Polish-language audio guide, but unfortunately, the batteries died quite quickly. It's a good thing we had four. Three of them died after 1.5 hours. Regardless, I highly recommend it. The bus transported us efficiently from the volcano to Pompeii.★

We couldn't visit Mount Vesuvius because of the weather. We visited the virtual museum in Pompeii instead. It was very interesting to do before visiting the ruins. The driver was very friendly. The restaurant was good.★

Mario was a wonderful guide! Very knowledgeable and engaging! When I originally booked the tour it was a “while I’m here I might as well see the sights” last minute plan but I’m so glad I did! I’ve done several tours in the states and across Europe and this was one I would happily do again if I’m ever back in the area. It was very well organized and I would definitely recommend Askos Tours!
