Reviews: 3 Hours Private Stone Town Walking Tour

We had the afternoon free in Stone Town, and whilst having breakfast searched for things to do, we came across Rakib and his walking tour. I checked the availability, and there was space for a private tour at 3 p.m., so I booked.
I received an instant email back via trip advisor, and a couple of minutes later, an email from Rakib saying hi and we arranged where to meet.
We meet Rakib, and after introductions, Rakib explained where we would be going and if there was anything particular we wanted to see/do.
We started the walking tour, Rabik was extremely knowledgeable and a nice person to hang out with.
Would 100% recommend it, and if this way again, I would definitely contact Rakib for any tours.
Bring water to sip on route. You do stop at a roof terrace for a cool down and drink★

The tour was fantastic. Our guide spoke excellent German and told us a lot about the history of Stone Town and Prison Island. We could also discuss other topics, and he answered all our questions.★

We had specifically booked a German-speaking guide. He tried his best, but his knowledge of the city wasn't very extensive. Or perhaps he couldn't express it well in German. Unfortunately, many of the sights were also closed or under renovation. That was a real shame.★

My guide was very friendly and had many interesting facts about the city and its history. I felt safe exploring on my own. He also gave me tips on how to interact with people and how to avoid scammers.
